The Rainbow Country Cabin is spectacular: spread out and enjoy the two-level rustic log home that can sleep up to 12 guests comfortably. A large deck provides epic views of the Yellowstone River, wildlife and all that Paradise Valley has to offer. Roast marshmallows around the firepit and cast a fishing line into the river. Rainbow Cabin is a perfect retreat for guests looking to spread out and enjoy Montana Big Sky Country! The cabin offers two levels of living space with a fun second-story loft that offers all the amenities and space to make it your "home away from home". Rainbow Cabin is the place to be when you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life and looking for a refuge to rejuvenate your soul. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities to prep great meals! The main level also offers an expansive living area, two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The bedrooms on the main floor offers a queen size bed in the comfortable master bedroom and a full sized bed in the cozy 2nd bedroom & the living room also has a futon couch. The upstairs loft offers three twin beds, a full size bed & a futon couch. The basement has a laundry room. Relax in the large jetted bathtub in the master bedroom after a long day of fishing, sit on the deck and grill up your favorite meals on the propane grill, read a book on the balcony or just hang out by the river next to the fire pit to take in the breath taking views. You're sure to enjoy this magical vacation spot. The loft offers multiple sleeping spots with three twin beds, 1 double bed and one double futon. The loft also has a DVD player, VCR, and small video library & a cool "cat walk" to the private deck with great views of the river. Rainbow Cabin has portable fans in the house but there is no air conditioning or cable tv. The cabin is equipped with WiFi. The lower level includes a laundry room for guests' use. If you love to fish or float you can do so right from the property. With the mountain range behind you, the river in front of the cabin and the abundant wildlife, the views will take your breath away. Also The distance from the few houses around make you feel as if you’re the only people in area and stars are so bright at night due to lack of ambient light from towns or cities. If you’re looking for great base location to do day trips to Yellowstone National Park through North Entrance, this is the location! There were seven of us and two large dogs. The house was laid out well with lots of space to spread out and have privacy when needed, but also family oriented for game time and meals together. There are two full bathrooms, one has a shower and one has a tub. The kitchen was fully stocked. The home is just off the small highway, but only the people who live on the street would have a reason to drive by, so it's very quiet and we weren't worried about the dogs running into the road. The view from the house is incredible. There is a firepit with a couple of benches right on the river... we were fortunate enough to watch a bald eagle coming and going from it's nest just across the river from us over the week that we spent there. There are elk that graze in the field across from the house too. It was only about a 20 minute drive to the North entrance of Yellowstone park and about 30 minutes to the closest town of Livingston, where there were lots of great shops and yummy restaurants. There were lots of hiking trails within 15 minutes drive. There is a small lake just up the road as well that we drove to and spent the day fishing and reading and relaxing in the sun. We had a few questions leading up to and during our stay and Nicole, the property manager was super responsive and helpful. We had an amazing time... we didn't want to leave! We will definitely book here again the next time we visit. ##### Dad J. There is a distinct odor in the home that is mildew/septic related coming from the basement. It was not as harsh at times but other times it was horrible. When I spoke to the Company handling the home she fully admits that the Septic was being pumped next week so it was known. 2\. Due to this odor. One would want the windows open. But some screens were missing, others had holes in them. And at night the mosquitos were awful so you could not have them open. And since there was only one portable air conditioning unit. You roasted all night long. When I spoke to to the Company by email handling the home she says that screens had been ordered since May. 3 The mattresses are old and stained, they need to be replaced as they are NOT comfortable in any way shape or form. I did not want to leave this review as it is not the way that I do things. But the email that I sent to the Company stated why was I not told about this before. She did not even respond to that question. This home is priced to high for what you get. Renter beware. ##### melody g.
