Our views, are "up close, close up! and personal and private" stunning mountain beauty w/360 degree epic views! You can touch the mountain and the sky here. Don't forget your camera. We are open in Winter too. Lots to do all year round in this area of the Yellowstone Park, and Paradise Valley area. Two Hotsprings in the area. Hiking galore, Pine Creek, wow, Water falls beautiful, plus we have 20 acres to wander and just enjoy the view if you feel like staying home base.
Our place, the whole bottom half, very private and soundproof ! 3 bedroom 4 beds 2 bath Comfy 5 star stay. Read the testimonies so far to get an idea. We are close enough to civilization, yet far enough away to hear a pin drop. Our place is for your relaxing and getting away from it all. We provide everything you need and if not just ask us and we will do our best! You want see or hear us unless you want to. John and I work hard at this.
You have a Private entrance bottom front condo! High up in Mountains but close to Hwy 89 and easy access to where north entrance to Yellowstone Park is.
Actually Yellowstone Park starts here! Its a gorgeous drive to the entrance, Mother Nature is always changing. aprox 25 min straight shot down hwy 89 to north entrance of Yellowstone Park.
We have an All glass front master bedroom and living room. What the eye can see Oh my gosh you will love it. If you like basketball we have a hoop. We have a BBQ for you and pitch game. We are building a wild bocce court too.
Best of all Winters are beautiful. Don't let snow and cold stop you. Lots to do in Montana in the winter too. And its stunning view. Increase in animals hanging around like elk, deer, etc. Soak in Hot Springs, dog sleds, ski cross country in our back yard. Hiking summer and winter.
The Views of Emigrant Peak and Yellowstone River are truly exceptional, we have breath taking Sunrise and Sunsets! Ever changing colors. All year round.
Sometimes you can see the Northern Lights Aurora Borealis! I have posted a picture of that. However in person is much more electric. Eagles, wild birds, deer, elk, coyote, fox, rabbits, and even chip monks that get pretty close. Even saw a baby jinx walking up our drive. Pretty cute!
Fresh Mountain air, quiet solitude, you can walk, hike on the property. We have trails and roads that are like trails to walk on.
Our water is so good to drink. Mountain fresh. You will want to take some bottles with you when you leave.
In our area we have excellent hiking, not only on our property, but Pine Creek Falls epic. Google "Pine Creek Falls", also google" Yellowstone Hot Springs". Its the best hot springs by far. Chico and Sage lots to do around hear. Yellowstone river, swim fish or float.
We are Open in Winter, the snow is so purifying. The view becomes a whole different story. You will love it here in the winter, the area is beyond beauty. All Hot Springs are open and the views to live for.
Yellowstone Park is also open in the winter!
It's so beautiful from the windows and outside on the property and surrounding area, I tried to capture in the pictures, but you gotta see it in person. The mountain views are jaw dropping awesome. You can see many miles either down the paradise valley way up here and its just amazing. You will not ever forget this place.
Our view is affordable and front center.
You will have the bottom half of the home! Completely Private, and quiet you will not hear us. We can't hear you. Plenty of Parking area. Even RV's and Semi Trucks can park!
Your entrance is private. You don't even have to see us unless you just want to! Easy check in. Its ready for you, Just drive up and park.
We have 20 acres of breathtaking beauty in Mother Nature you can roam, build a rock tower or 2. Kids love that. We love your animals just bring their beds so they can be comfy too. I promise you will not want to leave!
We are Perched up high, 5600 ft high! The view is Pure beauty for miles either way! Sounds too good to be true but its true....For instance.
Again, Ever changing is Mother Nature around here. Mountain lions and bears are at a distance, they do live in the area. No worries. Bring some Bear spray. You will want to roam, Mother Nature at her best and the living quarters are 5 star clean, very much home away from home. We work hard at it, Cozy and clean beds, ironed sheets, towels, soap, shampoo coffee, tea, cream and everything you need.
In area enjoy, a walk about, or go hiking, fishing in Yellowstone River which is just 2 minutes down the mountain from us, or just sit and enjoy the view. You can buy a float at the store and float the Yellowstone river too! Some people swim too.
Try Yellowstone Hot Springs for a soak, (the best,) and Chico Hot Springs 7 min away..
Sage has the best breakfast lunch and dinner. Open all year. Restaurants are 5 to 7 minutes down the mountain. Very close for your convenience, but not too close.
Yellowstone park has activities all year round as well. The drive from this property to North entrance is stunning.
Our Emigrant General Store pretty much has everything some organic too! 5 minutes down the hill.
We are open in Winter. If it snows, and you get stuck, we do have the ability to get you unstuck! So no worries. We are close if you need us. Otherwise you won't know we are around.
Yellowstone Hot Springs is beyond beauty my favorite, and 20 minutes from here. The right kind of warm soak is to be had.
Chico hot springs is just 7 minutes away. Restaurants include Sage, Chico, Livery Stable, BBQ nose and a few more. All eating within 5 to 10 minutes drive. Some serve breakfast too.
Emigrant General Store has everything, so you can eat at home. Kitchen is fully equipped and ready for your cooking!
Please, absolutely No smoking, vaping, on property, no drugs, including no Marijuana on property. A little wine is fine however no heavy drinking on property. We have Cliffs, sharp drops in area, you need your wits about you. Again, You will not want to leave it so breathtaking beautiful up here. Mother Nature is precious!

This was a perfect spot for our business trip and the view from the property is stunning. Everything was clean and nice. Would definitely recommend this home.
My husband and I stayed here with our 3 young kids and it was perfect. The place was clean, had everything we needed and the view is absolutely breathtaking! Town is so cute! It’s a short drive to Yellowstone park and Livingston. We would definitely return here again!!
We are very impressed with Jean's property. Great views even better in person than pictures :). We loves the time here and will recommend to everyone. Visited Yellowstone with 3 our kids and a dog and will be back in the future for sure, saving this property in our favorites!
Jean was nothing but amazing! My family and I had a wonderful time. The property was clean and she had everything easily accessible for all of us! I would definitely stay again!!! 10/10
My wife and I took our 5 year old granddaughter to Yellowstone and thought Emigrant, Montana would be a good base camp. Jean and John’s house proved to be the best vacation rental of the 15 or so we have rented. The view of the mountains is stunning and the house is wonderfully quiet and secluded. We will be back for certain, 5+++ stars!
The lodging accommodations were comfortable and clean. Check in procedure was easy. Plan to arrive during day light hours as the drive up the mountain off the main paved road may make you feel little uncertain about arriving at the correct location. Lots of mule deer in the area.
I took my 82yr old Father out west to visit Yelowstone for the first time. Instead of the hotel route, we decided to try something different, a house in the mountains. Everything was perfect and described accurately. Waking up with that view was absolutely breath taking. Would definitely recommend.
Our stay (July 2024) was the perfect location with a magical view of the mountains and valley. The location is conveniently located between Livingston and the North Entrance of Yellowstone/Gardiner. The retreat is immaculately clean with all the resources of home to include a fully functional kitchen and washer/dryer. All of the windows in the front of the house provide breathtaking views of the valley below and the mountains in the distance. We even had rabbits and deer in the front yard in the evenings. Jean was a great host and quickly replied to any questions we had. A great stay!!!
Absolutely amazing view, very clean, great layout, lots of space. We highly recommend this place and hope we get the chance go back. Thanks Jean, look forward to our next trip.
The property was perfect for my family. We attended a wedding at the Sage lodge and wanted some place close to stay. 10 minutes from our events, beautiful views, comfortable beds—in short everything we wanted.
We had a nice relaxing stay. The views were breathtaking. Nice trails to hike on and take in the beauty of our surroundings. The home was cozy and had everything we needed. An added bonus was the location, not far from Chico.
Jean and John were such a welcoming host! Very clean, organized, and quiet home! Did I mention the views? Oh the views were absolutely breathtaking spectacular!! Our dog loved the trails that go around the house and we did too! Came to Yellowstone to get married and this was the absolute perfect place for my wife and I to spend time together! 10/10 would recommend and we will be back! Love from Illinois!
A great view with quiet environment. Short drive to Yellow stone north entrance.
The host is wonderful ! Warm and welcoming . House is great , fill with everything we need and a lot of surprise items .
We love this place , the best host we ever met through Vrbo.
We stayed here with our two young girls. The views are outrageous and the location near Chico Hot Springs, hiking, live music, and food is incredible. Here you can truly have it all! The space is clean and despite being a lower level living area it is quiet and feels private. We would love to have stayed longer!
A beautiful, well appointed and fully stocked home perched above the valley with incredible views. We will be back for sure. Jean was a pleasure to work with. We enjoyed the tasty treat.
The location couldn't have been more perfect. We loved waking up to the most amazing view each morning. Everything we needed was provided. The proximity to the places we visited were on spot. My only complaint wold be, i wis we could have stayed longer!
Our family enjoyed our stay here. Rental was well supplied and easy access to car. Location and views are AMAZING. All of paradise valley was right there on display, from sunrise to sunset. All was very quiet and peaceful. A little table is out front so you can enjoy the view with your friends or family. Our kids enjoyed walking around the property and exploring nearby. Would definitely stay here again!
