Breakfast staff room location

Be careful using Expedia to book hotels, or anything really. Using a 3rd party to book anything usually voids any refund. We booked this hotel by accident because it has the exact same name as the other Fairview in Kelowna. Tried getting a refund but both the hotel and Expedia put their hands up and say, oh no we can't do that. Once the hotel has your money from Expedia they won't refund Expedia so that Expedia can refund you. Obviously my mistake booking the wrong hotel with identical names in the same city, but come on. Loved Expedia for the convenience of the bundles but thats the last time I use them. We didn't check out, we double payed and moved to the right hotel, left the do not disturb sign on the door so the hotel didn't clean it and double dip by putting more people in. Hotels pool is outdoor, so wouldn't recommend this place anytime fall and beyond.

Hotel was fairly nice. The bed was comfortable, staff was efficient, and the breakfast was good. The rooms are fairly soundproofed. We were right beside the elevators and I was worried we’d hear that all night, but we didn’t. But the carpets were stained, sheer curtains were ripped, the thermostat didn’t work, and the hanging lamp in our room was coming apart.
