Elmina Bay was excellent- the rooms and amenities were very clean. The food was extremely fresh and good. The staff were friendly with only a couple of exceptions- nothing was too much for our comfort. The owner was helpful and obliging- the pool was cleaned every day and was big. The staff were friendly and helpful. The chalet was comfortable, very clean and we loved sitting out on the outside veranda. We were welcomed by the owners and staff. The gardens were lovingly looked after and the flowering plants beautiful. It is important for people to know that part of the road access to the property involves untarred road! But stick with it for Charlestina is at the end of the road and well worth the trek. We would definitely stay here again.

I dont believe that anyone else was staying in the hotel the night I stayed, and this gave the place the feeling of a ghost town, which was deepened by the realisation that the hotel still wasn't quite finished and workmen were still working in the garden.
