Couples looking for a peaceful escape will find the village centre ideal. It offers a quiet setting superb for leisurely strolls and enjoying the local culture without the hustle and bustle of a city. July and August are the warmest months, ideal for enjoying the lakes and outdoor attractions in the wider Hessen region. While Ellingshausen itself is a quiet village, these months are superb for those who want to combine a relaxing stay with day trips to nearby towns or natural parks.

September brings slightly cooler temperatures and the start of the autumn colours, which can be quite picturesque.
