There’s a yellow jacket infestation either in the walls or under the house. Spouse is highly allergic and when we requested someone come out to inspect, no one came. There is also mold covering the ceiling of the bathroom, likely due to how small it is and poor ventilation. We were excited to stay here based on the previous reviews, but unfortunately our stay was ruined as we spent our time killing yellow jackets and worrying about being stung indoors. We chose the cabin for proximity to Blue Ridge, parts of TN and NC as well as being under 2 hours to Atlanta’s airport. The cabin itself is easily accessible (no long drives up rutted roads) and is right off a really nice highway. The cabin itself is small but well-appointed. It’s mostly made up of the kitchen area with a very small bathroom and tv area off to the sides and 2 bedrooms, one in the loft area. There is 2nd cabin right across the driveway but that is made clear in the listing and was very quiet when we were there.
