With ample parking, super-fast fiber internet, and sprawling grassy areas, this pet-friendly cabin promises a unique and memorable experience.

The cabin, tucked in a picturesque valley, offers the ultimate restful getaway. As you arrive, the sounds of rushing water welcome you. Step onto the deck walkway leading to the entrance, passing by the inviting hot tub area. Inside, the cabin exudes rustic elegance, featuring a fully stocked kitchen and beautifully designed living spaces. Choose from oversized first-floor bedrooms with a king and queen bed or the cozy king bedroom upstairs, complete with a `cubbie hole` nook ideal for pets or children. Entertainment abounds with SmartTVs equipped with YouTube TV in every bedroom, the living room, and the game room. Challenge your companions to a game of pool, board games, or simply relax by the wood-burning fireplace. We`ve thought of everything, including pet amenities like bowls, an extra leash, and pick-up bags.

The cabin spans over 2,000 sq. ft. There is only one security camera that faces the driveway and records 24/7 and doesn`t face any interior area. Enjoy easy, contactless check-in with keypad access, and appreciate the no-step entry to the cabin, ensuring accessibility for all guests. Named `Buddy`s Bungalow`, this cabin is situated outside an HOA community, with a few neighboring properties discreetly nestled among the trees. The serene creek flows gracefully through the valley, adding to the cabin`s charm. With ample parking for up to six vehicles, the cabin is also conveniently located for festival-goers and food lovers, with downtown Ellijay`s unique dining just 10 miles away. For those seeking adventure, Fort Mountain State Park is only 11 miles distant, offering swimming, hiking, and horseback riding. Buddy`s Bungalow has been a favorite for many years. Your hosts, Jason and Erin Wilson, are dedicated to ensuring your stay is comfortable and memorable. No parties/events are allowed at Buddy`s Bungalow. Don`t leave trash or food outside. Smoking areas are outside only! All garbage is to be put into trash bags provided and put into the trash cans in the garage. Do not leave doors/windows open as wildlife and pests may come for a visit. There are screen doors and windows that are perfect for letting the breeze in. The hot tub is to be used at your own risk. No food, towels, soaps or oils allowed in the hot tub. Check in and check out times are strict. Many times we have guests checking in later the same day and our cleaners do an amazing job cleaning the cabin top to bottom and need the full time to do so. We encourage our guests to reach out immediately if something is not right. Our goal is for you to have an amazing stay at our cabin and we will do everything we can to make that happen.

Beautiful, clean and very relaxing! We loved the hot tub and the pool table. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need to stay in and cook all your meals. We loved our stay and hopefully will return soon.

The cabin was so cozy! So comfortable with adorable Bear Theme in every room. The beds were extremely comfortable. I usually wake up a few times a night but not here! Slept like a baby. Wonderful outdoor area to enjoy. LOVED drinking coffee on the porch and listening to the creek.

Perfect getaway

The house was exactly what we needed for our stay. It was very nice loved the rustic feel very clean and well stocked. We loved the screened porch and the outside patio area with the firepit. We definitely would rent it again.

Visiting Elijay with friends

Buddy's Bungalow was a great place to stay. About 20 minutes from Elijay, private location a little bit a out of the way but not bad. Jason and Erin were very nice to work with. Would stay there again.

Buddy's Bungalow

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well cared for. Though there were other cabins nearby, it still gave a sense of seclusion. If you don't like farm animal sounds, this may not be the place for you. That was actually a highlight for us. We really enjoyed our stay. If there is one area I would mention for improvement, it's the cookware. It was in pretty bad shape, but that certainly wouldn't stop us from staying there again.

Second time just as good as the first

We absolutely love this place. The hot tub near the stream. The beds are amazing. Kitchen is very well supplied. The fireplace is great (there is a local selling wood near the turn off the main road). We are planning our next trip already.

Quiet and Peaceful

If you are looking to get away, this cabin is perfect. Beds were comfy, all the amenities available, great WiFi, and plenty of outdoor spaces. The town of Ellijay is adorable and hiking in the area is wonderful with some amazing waterfalls and views.

Has Everything You Need!

The only things that we had go out for were food and firewood! All essentials were provided, all four of our kids had space and loved every second in the “fairy garden” and creek.

Perfect Rental

A quaint getaway in the mountains. Off the beat and path a great place to unwind and relax. We were able to relax in the hot tube, sit by the fire, cozy up on the screened in porch with a book and listen to the water in the creek. A perfect weekend or week getaway.

Perfect Getaway!

The cabin was warm and welcoming and we had a wonderful stay. The patio area with the fire pit and swing was our favorite place to sit in the morning and again in the evening. We were also thrilled to find hiking so close to the cabin. I highly recommend.

Nice family getaway

Great place tucked away but close enough to downtown Ellijay and anything else you need. Cabin is comfortable with a great kitchen to cook and hang out in. This place is perfect for a family but not optimal for an adult getaway as other cabins are close in proximity offering limited privacy. The pool table was unusable during our stay which was a bummer as it was one of the perks we loved about this place. Overall a great place to stay in Ellijay!

Annual hiking trip with friends

What an adorable cabin tucked in a gorgeous rural community! Close enough to Ellijay proper and Blue Ridge for all the restaurants and hiking. The cabin was stocked with everything you could need. We made use of the hot tub every day after returning from our hike. Cabin is pet friendly but you wouldn’t know that except for the leashes by the door. Definitely recommend.

Family Wonderland

We wanted to get away from it all and enjoy some family time. Grocery shopped in town, made most of our meals from the cabin, and each day picked a nearby hike or just hung out on the property. Literally spent an entire day with the kids playing in the stream, backyard area, woods, and the hot tub. This cabin has everything you need to reconnect as a family!
