The sound of the rushing River takes away the outside world, you will honestly be amazed a the beauty! There is actually 2 homes on this 1.5 acre site and both are part of this rental. This house offers 4 bedrooms and a loft with 3 full baths and one half bath. Large family room with corner stone fireplace and a large sunroom sitting right on the water! The master bedroom offers access through the french doors to the upper deck to enjoy the beautiful outdoors overlooking the river and the master bath offers a claw foot tub with separate shower. We had a group of friends and everyone had their own private space, plus the wonderful communal spaces of the living room and sunroom in the main unit. The river was gorgeous. We saw deer during our stay, and spent mornings and evenings hanging out on the deck by the river. The kitchen is simple but well appointed. You're less than 15 minutes away from grocery stores. The size of the group is generally between 10 and 15 young men. I seek a place that is accommodating, has room for us to spread and conduct semester planning, is comfortable enough for winding down at the end of each day, is clean, and allows us to cook and enjoy meals as a group. This location in Ellijay hit on all areas! And it literally sits on a roaring river that crests the coolest ambience and nicest white noise at night sleeping. The communication was excellent. They sent an AC repair guy, but he didn't have the right filters. The unit is clogged up and blows warm air in the main part of the home.Do not rent this if you have anyone with disabilities; the stairs are steep to the rooms. The sound of the stream made for a soothing background noise, lots to do for those that like the outdoors. The linens and towels were clean and the kitchen was nicely stocked with pots and pans, cups and so forth. Surrounded by woods so bugs are to be expected. Excellent property for a fun family getaway. With two 9 year olds and two 6 year olds there was no shortage of fun to be had! The property is perfectly spread out for kids to run around play and skip rocks in the river. The house was very clean and incredibly comfortable. The stairs are steep and I would not recommend older people stay here. For my group it was amazing. Incredibly spacious, warm, and came with everything you could ever need to enjoy yourself.
