Beautiful Blue Ridge Cabin

It was a beautiful setting. We loved the porch. Lake was so serene and beautiful. Just a great getaway. So peaceful and lots to do in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We utilized the fire pit, hammock, canoe, grill, and fishing opportunities. Very pleased with everything and would highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again. Very convenient to Ellijay and Blue Ridge.

Lovely cabin with lake view

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin with excellent scenic views of the lake! The cabin was clean, comfortable and nicely equipped with all the essentials. Close to both Blue Ridge and Ellijay, we had plenty to do for entertainment. We will be back!

Great get-away

We wished we could stay longer. It was such a nice stay. We enjoyed all amenities: BBQ, hot-tub, Kajaks, fishing from the dock, swimming in the lake, chilling in the hammock and the porch. Awesome weekend 👍

Great Get Away!

This is a great little get away! Perfectly located between downtown Elijay and downtown Blue Ridge for shopping and great food. Great hiking and a quiet neighborhood made for a perfect relaxing weekend. The house has all of the accomodations for an easy trip including family games, firewood, and nice cookware.

Fun Stay on a Lake

We had a great time at the house on the lake. The canoe and kayak were fun and the house is in a great location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The only issue is that they don't provide extra toilet paper roles even though we were there for 5 days but they do let you know ahead of time.

Best bang for your buck

We loved our stay here. Literally everything you could ask for. Property is close enough to blue ridge and ellijay but the cabin has everything you need if you want to stay in. The view was stunning and the property was private but not completely isolated. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice getaway

The stay was very comfortable. The water was nice and will definitely be back to visit in the future! Only complaint would be the roadway leading to it and the loud noise at night from some neighbors due to parking issues with people walking around after 1am.

Great quick getaway to the mountains

The property was exactly as advertised. Great location and close to great restaurants in both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Lake was beautiful and the owner/management company was quick to respond when we had questions. We will be back.

Beautiful and Tranquil

Loved our little cabin. The view overlooking the lake was one of my favorites. This place was so quiet and a nice escape from reality. We took the kayak and canoe out and it was wonderful. The lake was so peaceful and your are surrounded by the beauty of nature. The only thing I would change was the driveway, it is very steep. We were thankful we had four-wheel drive, but that would not stop us from staying again.

Thanksgiving Stay

Great location and the views were fantastic! Maybe a little pricy, however it was a holiday week. The only downside is, and this isn't on the owner, but the town had an outdoor ban on fires, so the lovely fire pit was useless. The house had all the things we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner, so all in all...we were pleased!

Peaceful

We had an amazing stay. Cabin and property is exactly as seen and described and to us, much better in person. It was a birthday week getaway with our 2 pups. Enjoyed sitting on the porch, mornings and evenings and enjoying the beautiful view. Town is close enough to get out and about and travel to other areas if you wanted. It was great and we look forward to visiting again in the future. Highly recommend!

Great lakeside cabin

Convenient to Ellajay and Blue Ridge. Very clean and kitchen had just about anything you would need. The cabin was very nicely decorated with a bear theme and autumn. The hot tub was accessible by exiting the main floor and walking down outside steps to a lower porch under the main cabin. Very quiet neighborhood. We didn’t fish, but saw lots of fish from the dock. Hope we get a chance to visit again.

Honeymoon

Nice property. Could use a cobweb sweep on the cabin balconies. The hot tub water smells awful, the roof pops a lot. Also the turn at Buckhorn that takes you directly to the cabin is very sharp and extremely narrow so be careful. Otherwise it’s very quiet, peaceful and serene.

Perfect Summer Escape

Lakeside Hideaway was the perfect escape from the heat of Florida for a couple of weeks. The cabin is exactly as shown in the pictures and descriptions. The location was perfect. Easy drive to both Blue Ridge and Ellijay. There was plenty of activities in the area to keep us entertained. The kitchen is well stocked, and the cabin was very clean. The only issues that we had were trash related. The owners should consider building an area for the trash cans that can be enclosed so the raccoons can’t get into it. Additionally, there should be free trash pickup for guests staying more than a week. The lake is a perfect bonus. Both of the paddle board were missing fins which pretty much eliminated teaching a beginner.
