Family weekend getaway
Liked the cabin a lot. Plenty of space and good for our 3 generations. Check-in was easy, but after checking in, the community security kept losing our info, so I had to call a few times to get added back to the list. Photos showed a hottub which was not working. This was disappointing, and they should remove the photos of the hottub. Linens are older/worn. Extra linens would be appreciated for cold weather. Positives- easy drive into the community. Lots of deer and wildlife. Home feels more private, as no other homes can be seen from the back porch.

Cozy Cabin for 8
Stayed 3 days for Father’s Day with adult children. Easy to get to Ellijay but not easy to find the community recreation area. Quiet and private backyard. Kitchen well equipped. Good size bedrooms with plenty of room for 8. Living area a little tight for 8, probably 6 better. Hot tub didn’t work. Repair man tried hard but couldn’t fix. We cleaned pollen and mold off rocking chairs on back deck. Dead bugs and dust in most corners and window sills and under pretty much all the furniture. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean but dining table had either catsup or jelly in several places. Need a new cleaning crew.

It's unfortunate that you did not share your concerns with cleaning with the Operations Manager that was with you for 2 hours while the hot tub technician was working on the hot tub, or again when communicating through the weekend with the Operations Manager. Your concerns could have easily been addressed immediately to make your stay more enjoyable. We appreciate your understanding regarding the hot tub situation. As is often the case with malfunctioning items, obtaining a replacement part has become quite challenging at the moment.

Hidden mountain retreat
My family and I loved the property and the area of Ellijay. We love it’s proximity to Amicolola park and other hiking destinations. The house itself was spacious and well equipped. My family of 7, with 5 teenagers, were more than comfortable and never felt cramped or in each other’s way. My only critique of this property is the absolute pain of getting in and out of the gated community that the house lies within. We have never lived or even visited a gated community so the whole process is alien to us. Overall our stay was fantastic and we would absolutely stay in this house again.

House was nice. Hot tub did not work. This was one of the main reasons for choosing the house so it was a bummer.

Thank you for your feedback. We hate you were disappointed in not having the hot tub during your stay, but we did have a technician come out to take a look at the tub. He tried diligently to obtain the part that was needed but delivery was delayed due to the holiday and the lack of supplies due to COVID. Like everything it impossible to predict when an appliance or something mechanical will have an issue. The hot tub has been repaired since your stay and we invite you to return. Nice Cabin In The Woods
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Played pool, lounged in the hot tub and saw deer that lived in the woods next to the cabin. Cabin is stocked with pretty much all you'll need for your stay, just need to bring your food to cook. Make sure to bring charcoal for the grill.

Perfect getaway for a gentlemen's weekend.
We used this cabin for a small reunion of friends when the Covid lockdown forced us to cancel our big plans for New Orleans. I was surprised to find a property this nice available on such short notice. For four adults we had more than enough room to each have our own space, and the amenities on hand made us feel incredibly relaxed and at home. My only (small) grievances would be the condition of the grill (grates were not the right size for the grill so we could not use the full space), an incredibly squeaky bed on the main floor, and we had a bit of a time getting the DVD player to work on a rainy day, but no worries, we just played pool instead! None of these would dissuade me from using this property again, which I would certainly do! It was a beautiful property, the owner was very polite and communicative, everything was clean, and we wanted for nothing during our stay. The nearby rafting and hiking are beautiful, and the neighborhood was quiet and clean. Would certainly recommend if you have a mid to large sized group.

We hate to hear you felt uncomfortable. However, your early arrival, prior to 7:30a.m. on the day of your check-in, made the guests there uneasy. Check-in is at 4pm, which allows time for the current guest to checkout at 11am and housekeeping time to clean between stays. Your arrival and insistence on going into the cabin prior to check-in was unacceptable.

Private but not isolated
My girlfriends and I stayed over a weekend. The photos represent the cabin well. We enjoyed the fire pit. We liked having the hot tub adjacent to the fire pit. However, the jets only worked on one side. I have let the property manager know. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were adequate. A little hard for most of us. The cabin is in a fairly populated area so if you are looking for a place with no neighbors this would not be good. We were fine having close neighbors. The back yard is very private.

Deer for days!
We had a wonderful time. The resort area is absolutely stunning and there are deer everywhere. We made good use of the outdoor firepit and the well stocked kitchen. You kind of feel like you're in the trees. The fall foilage was stunning and we had plenty of room. I only wish all the beds were as comfortable as the one on the main floor. Great time was had by all!

Great weekend getaway
This was a great get away weekend for us! Lots to do at the cabin so you don’t feel like you have to go out if you don’t want to. I did feel like the cleaning was a bit rushed (we found trash, clothes, and shoes under couches and tables) but after we cleaned up a bit when we got there it was great! Very happy with the overall experience and would book again.

This property is so old and needs to be renovated. The home had dust mites every where and the property owner was very rude. The toilet seat in the bathroom downstairs fell off when in use. The hot tub is old and need to be replaced. I cooked on the grill during my stay and all of my food fell inside of the grill because it was broken. Hi The property manager charged me for the amenity card that she came and switched out during our arrival in which she popped up unannounced. I (the person who rented this home) was not at the home when she arrived. This should have been taken care of before me and my family arrival. Due to her not speaking to the correct guest, she (the property owner Valerie) misplaced the other card and blamed me and my guest. She even had the nerve to send me rude emails stating that I need to find a card that she misplaced. She even went on to say that I messed up all the bedding in the home during my stay because I had extra guest. I’m confused because I rented out a whole home and she expected me to only use a few rooms. I never had any extra guest stay in the home and she made speculations upon her pop up arrival unannounced because she claim she didn’t have my contact information. She came to be nosey and counted people in my home because we were black. She charged me for trash that I put into the containers and tied up. I have never had any problems with VRBO but run from this cabin it’s not worth any of the money. This was absolutely my worst stay ever.

I welcome you to see the pictures of this cabin to show nothing is old, including the Hot Tub. The toilet seat was not broken, and was reported to us after they checked out.Had the guest called our office regarding the toilet seat, we would have come over.The grates in the grill are not broken. Had she called our office, again, we would have come over immediately. We never heard form the guest. Regarding the amenity card, housekeeping told me she forgot to leave the new amenity card for our guest, and I told her to give it to me, and I would run over and give it to our guest. This was around 4:30, and check in-time is at 4:00. Our guest were already at the cabin, so when I went up to the door, I told the gentlemen and lady, I was sorry to disturb them, and was trying to get to the cabin before they checked in. He said no problem and I handed him the new amenity card. I told them to enjoy their stay, and started to leave. At this time I was on the front porch, and did not go in the cabin. He then told me the hot tub temperature was on 76 and could I check it out. I then walked thru the living room to the back deck and noticed the circuit breaker was off. I flipped it back on and waited until I saw the temperature rising. I noticed there were 7 adults and 6 children in the cabin. The children had on birthday hats, and I met the birthday boy. I know this cabin sleeps 10 guest, and more guest were in the cabin that should be. We only allow the number of guest the cabin sleeps. When I returned to my office I saw the reservation was made for 5 adults. I never called her to say your reservation is for 5 guest and 13 were at the cabin. Come to find out this was not including Ms. Sheppard which would make it 14 guest. She told me the woman that I was talking to wasn't her, and I should have spoken to her. I told her, how can I talk to you if you weren't there yet. I had to assume the lady I did speak to was the person that rented the cabin. When housekeeping went over to clean, they reported loose trash in the garbage cans. We have a large sign by the trash cans No Loose Trash. No one wants to touch or re-bag anyone's trash. The expired amenity card was left and not the new card. I'm sadden that this guest states that I was just being noisy because they were black. I had no idea who was in the cabin until I brought over the card. She is upset I billed her for the loose trash and the amenity card. I would credit her back if the amenity card is returned

Great family mountain vacay spot!
We had a very relaxing stay as a family and really enjoyed the pool table and all the wild life (dear, birds, a beautiful woodpecker). Cabin was clean and well stocked. Had a great time!

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. However, take your own towels. Our towels had hair on them. The hot tub stopped working at one point but started working again the next day. The cabin had a lot of family games, pool table, and outdoor activities. The cabin is located close to the main road, making it quick to get to attractions.

All was amazing with the exception that it was advertised as having WiFi and it did not. It was very well stocked and great accommodations for a 7 women for a girls weekend. the fire pit was a great touch for a wonderful experience.

Our family had a great week! The cabin was perfect for our needs and the resort was great! I have gone over in my mind multiple times to find anything negative, but nothing really stands out. The property management company was awesome and quick to reply. Needless to say, our kids are already talking about next year’s trip!

Yes there was a major storm and a tornado did go thru the resort. This is Mother Nature, and out of our control. A storm can come anytime anywhere. This 1 star is totally unfair. Hundreds of cabins were destroyed or damaged. We were in touch with all our guest to find out how they were, and if they could get out. A tree was blocking the drive way, and we did get neighbors with chain saws to remove it, so they could get out. Mountain Resort Cabin Rentals

Great getaway
Still waiting for security deposit back and it’s been over two weeks. Emailed the resort and seem to be getting the run around on when I will receive it and who is responsible for giving it back. Very cozy and clean! Deer came straight up to us.
