"This was a perfect place for our quick overnight stay and will stay again. I found the bed too hard for my liking. I prefer a firm bed yet this felt hard. Suggest adding a place for two people to place travel bags off the floor. We appreciated coffee in the entryway Cafe rather than Keurig in the room, the touch sensitive lighting, and loved the contactless check in, easy parking for no additional fee, and the area was peaceful and very convenient to where we were going. Offsite food was not an issue for us, we found a new favorite restaurant by exploring a little bit!"

"We had such a comfortable and fun family stay at this home. The home’s layout is wonderful for a family, and the furnishings were so comfortable. The couches in the TWO TV rooms were comfortable to relax on and the beds in the bedrooms were equally as comfortable. We slept well every night we were here and it was so quiet. One of us forgot a toothbrush, and Nick and Toni had some toothbrushes at the ready for us. There were extra rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, dish soap, condiments, and spices available for us. These additions made unpacking and functioning in the home seamless. There were many nights when we cooked at home and we had all of the necessary tools: including pots and pans, tinfoil, a clean and high functioning grill, strainers and bowls to do so. The hot tub was wonderful and the side of the house with the fire pit, which we did not use, has a gorgeous lawn that is impeccably kept - it is cozy to walk on and beautiful to look at. The location of the home is conveniently situated in Gilford which is close to Meredith, Weirs Beach, Alton and Wolfeboro. Twice we ate at a delicious restaurant only 10 minutes away called “The Breeze.” We were less than 15 minutes away from Gunstock where we hiked a few times and Mount Major, which we hiked three times. I really can’t say enough good things about this property….its location, its amenities and comfort, and, of course, its gracious hosts."

"Sean’s place is vey nice , the view of the mountains, and lake is absolutely beautiful!My 8 year old grandson loved the big TV with the recliners. My brother, and my nephew who is 25 absolutely loved the pool table..Everything was only about 10 minutes away.Watching all the boats go by from the top back deck was so cool. We always had the binoculars out. I bet this place would be so beautiful in the fall.! I would definitely recommend, this house has room for everybody. Thanks Sean .. oh and Sean was there to show us around, and even gave my brother a tour around town.Very good and personable host !Anne and family"

"Amazing property - we were in the area for a bronco off-road trip super convenient location. House was super clean with an interesting layout. We had 6 people in our group with 2 being young adults they enjoyed the dart board so much that I purchased one for their apartment down at school. Hot tub, fire pit, and grill were awesome. Check-in and out went flawless as well as all communication with the host. 100% recommend this host and property"
Antique charm, modern amenities, lake and mountain views

"We just returned from spending two nights at this property while attending a wedding in Meredith. The cottage has beautiful landscaping, the view of the lake is wonderful as advertised, and the setting is peaceful and serene. Pros: check in/check out were super easy, and we appreciated being able to check in a bit early, the kitchen was very well-stocked and easy to work in, the master bedroom was indeed spacious with comfortable beds and nice linens, and the entire house was neat and clean with the only exception being the stairs to the second floor which had a layer of grey dust on them that required a quick sweep (apparently some work had recently been done here). Cons: the stairs to the second floor were extremely narrow and steep and the handrail was quite loose. This felt like a safety hazard that really should be fixed although the owner stated that this was not possible. Additionally, the ceiling height on the second floor is very low and if we had anyone on the taller side in our party that would have been problematic. We were able to work around these issues and had an enjoyable stay in the house, but it would be helpful if the listing explicitly described the accessibility issues."
