"The atmosphere was inviting and people were great! Dan in the kitchen was a wonder; Annie helped us feel right at home. The cabin room was clean and we appreciated the towels and robes available for the hot springs!"
"This is absolutely a prime case of not judging a book by its cover. We weren't sure what to expect and to be honest when we approached we were quite skeptical. The outside of the property/building needs a lot of TLC which, given how wonderful the inside of the room was I'm sure is "on the list" for them to tend to. So don't be put off but your first impression.
Inside, the rooms are clean and very comfortable. Completely remodeled and updated. They do not feel at all like typical hotel rooms, much more homey. Everything from "non-hotel type" towels, pillows and linens, "non-hotel type" fixtures and decor. It all adds to a feeling of staying at someone's home rather than in a typical hotel.
7 min walk to one of the best naturalized hot springs we've found in the area state - and we've visited several so far. Side note - the hot springs are open 24hrs and during our late visit felt completely safe (regularly patrolled by law enforcement). Great food options in town which is full of such friendly people. This was our second time back and we'll be back again and again for sure.
Road tripping from Alberta, Canada. Saratoga is a secret gem that I'm sure many overlook because they judge a book by it's cover."
Get away from the hustle and bustle in an outdoor paradise!
10/10 Excellent
"This space worked perfectly for our family! Great location, very easy check-in and check-out processes, and the hosts were great at communicating with us. The house is beautiful and a great base camp for all of your Saratoga adventures!"
"The photos of the property on Expedia were of the main building but we were given a room in the old 1 story building next door with an outside entrance. Upon entering the bathroom there was an unfolded towel thrown over the shower rod over the bath tub. The only soap was a TINY little bar (approximately 1" X 2") broken into pieces within it's packaging. There was a large fly buzzing around the bathroom.
There was a small dead bug on top of our bed but didn't see any under the covers.
We ate dinner in the main building where the food & service was very good."
"We loved staying at this historic home. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need and had spices and such for cooking. The entire home was comfortable and inviting. We even had deer in the yard morning and night.☺️
We would definitely stay here again."
"Lovely, spacious, beautifully decorated home with all the features and comforts you could hope for! The very large yard is fully fenced with nice, tall fences, which allowed my two dogs to safely sniff around to their hearts' content. There was a 125 cash cleaning fee for our pets to stay with us, which I didn't notice in the original description, but may have simply missed. I was happy to pay it to be able to bring our dogs with us. Such a rare treat! We had a fabulous weekend in Saratoga and would stay at this property again in a heartbeat!"
