"The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. There was easy parking and, apart from nearby construction which started at a reasonable time in the morning, the area was quiet. "Really great hotel, with excellent staff, and a fantastic breakfast that will set you up for the entire day. The 5-7 minute walk to the subway goes through a sketchy neighbourhood that is essentially the "projects". Dudes sitting in chairs on the street playing music, doing push-ups in front of convenience store that service a rather "interesting" clientele. BUT...no one bothers you and i walked from the subway with my 13 and 14 year olds and never felt unsafe ot threatened. However, i could see some people feeling intimidated by the neighbourhood if you come from and quiet, middle class neighbourhood."
