An Impeccable Experience: Clean, Well-Stocked, and Superior to a Hotel Stay!
If you're searching for comfort, cleanliness, and convenience, look no further. First and foremost, cleanliness is paramount to me, and I was thrilled to find that A. L. Cottage exceeded my expectations in this regard. When we arrived the house was nice and cold. Everything was clean and spotless. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchenette was thoughtfully stocked with complimentary coffee, sugar and half and half. The internet worked and had a wide selection of entertainment options. Comparing my stay at to a traditional hotel experience is like contrasting night and day. You would be crazy to stay at a hotel. You have the privacy and comfort of a home here. The location is of a small town. Safe and quiet. My only complaint was the bath towels are too small and I am not a big person. So if your traveling and need a rest stop, this is it, look no further. Overall, A+.

Relaxing Country Cottage
This was one of the best experiences that me and my boyfriend have had. It was quiet, cozy, and very affordable. We would definitely recommend this place to others and we will definitely be staying here again next time we come through town.

Cozy home, perfect stay
This is the perfect spot for a small family or group of friends. We toured some of the ranches in the area and needed a central location. This was perfect. The cottage was extremely clean with everything we needed to cook at home. Our kids ages 7 & 10 loved the games provided, the park across the street, and the hot chocolate and tea bar. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Lovely 2 bedroom property out in the country. All amenities available. Incredible night sky with all the stars. Very quiet. Quick responses from host. Mexican food restaurant and a sonic in town. We enjoyed our stay.

This one sets the bar
If I could find a gem like this every time I travel, I’d travel a lot more! Such a welcoming cottage especially after driving 13 hours! Very clean. We felt at home and felt taken care of. It didn’t just provide the bare minimum, it goes above and beyond. There is a very thoughtful approach to anticipating the guest’s needs and making it extra comfy as well (loved the bedding). We made dinner, watched a movie on the huge flat screen t.v., enjoyed the sunset while sitting outside on the front porch, and started the morning with great coffee (and a nice variety of creamers). I’m thankful we got to stay here. Thank you Anthony for being such a great host!

Charming, wonderful amenities
We needed a place for our family of four to stay driving from Colorado home to Houston, and this was perfect. It was a well appointed and charming place; the owners have thought of everything, down to a basketball for shooting hoops at the park across the street. Grateful to have stumbled upon it, as on past road trips we have found it difficult to relax during a pit stop — but not this time!

Loved the little out of the way home. Suited us perfectly. Would only make one suggestion, to not use any of the scented air wicks, scented laundry detergent or cinnamon pinecones -I am highly sensitive, but I should have let him know in advance, which I didn’t (we were traveling cross country) and it is certainly my issue. But, with that said - the two bedroom home was PERFECT in every way. We will absolutely request to stay again if heading that way - and you should too!!!

Remodeled cottage in small town. Most things updated well. Across from Park with many outside activities available, or watch one of the 3 TVs inside. Two things to bring: earplugs for the overnight trains and your own food and drink if you don't like Sonic.

Beautiful Cottage
This is very-very cozy place. Beautifully decorated to the smallest details, well taken care of and absolutely spotless. In fact, I have never seen before such a clean rental property (and we travel a LOT and quite spoilt). It was such a pleasant surprise to find this house on our way back home to Houston. We really enjoyed staying there. Will make sure to stay there again when traveling north next time. Thank you for your hospitality!

Quaint and Clean Cottage :)
We needed a place to stop for the night on our way up to Oklahoma. We really thought it was beautifully decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed for a quiet evening before getting up early and heading north. We took a walk around the park across the street, and had pizza in. I would highly recommend, as the owners were very nice, communicated well.

Excellent stay
We loved the cozy, family friendly, very nicely designed cabin. The neighborhood is very friendly, and we were greeted by the neighbors. Great space for the kids to play around while we made our overnight stop on the way north after 8 hours drive. very responsive and accommodating host. he was also kind enough to mail us a jacket we forgot at the house.

Great place to split up our drive!
The house was even cuter in person than the photos. The furnishings and decor look like they’re out of a magazine, and the the coffee bar was my personal favorite. The host was very communicative. We had everything we needed there and then some and felt confident we could contact Anthony right away if necessary. We’ll definitely stay again if we need a place to split up our drive from Kansas to Houston.

Sweet place in the small city.
Totally unexpected and suprisingly awesome. Cute place and well maintained. Manager repliew were quick and very accommodating. Theres a park across the street with a playground and basketball court. Quite and peaceful. I will definitely be returning.
