"On the whole this hotel is fantastic. It's set in a beautiful location and has been converted very well. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff very attentive. This is a tricky review to write as when we woke on Sunday morning, our checkout day, there was no water - neither hot nor cold. Nothing in the whole building. We were given bottles of water for the toilet and we were able to"bathe" in the hotel pool. This was not the fault of the staff who were trying to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. However, this did ruin our stay in what normally would have been a fantastic hotel. 4 Stars for the hotel and staff but 1 star for the water situation."

"This place completely exceeded our expectations. It’s a beautiful, peaceful hideaway surrounded by lush scenery and tucked away from everything — the perfect place to truly switch off and relax. The pool was fantastic, but one of the real highlights was sitting outside at night under the stars. It was absolutely magical and so peaceful. If you’re thinking about booking, do it! This place is a little hidden gem and you won’t be disappointed. We loved every minute of our stay and would return in a heartbeat."
