the hotel was beautiful. the staff were very polite and on point. the rooftop resteraunt service was horrible, food was limited and the service was just slow which definitely left a bad taste in my mouth

Our room was not ready at check-in. When we finally questioned them an hour later, the manager was snarky saying check-in "starts at 4 pm". We didn't appreciate his attitude. Because our room wasn't ready, we spent a good bit of time walking around and spending money.
The breakfast was "okay". It was "free" but was literally the same handful of foods every day.
Part of why we chose this hotel was because they said there were five restaurants on site. What they didn't say was only 1-2 of them would be open at a time.
Also, they got a new generator while we were there, and they had to turn off the electricity about 3 hours during the day (during a literal heat wave/heat index warning). The elevator near our room was unavailable the last two days.
Also, they have the air conditioning set so it won't go lower than 70 degrees, and that's if you're lucky. Most of the time it wouldn't get below 71-72 degrees.
One last thing...the "free happy hour" consisted of stale party mix, raw carrots, and drinks in a mini cup.
