"this was a very last minute booking due to a misunderstanding with my previously booked hotel and I was pleasantly surprise (considering I had no time to research or even see reviews) by the hotel design, amenities and staff. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely go back."

This hotel was fine for me. It's new, and up above El Calafate in a newly developing area. At the moment it feels a bit far out of town, but this is because the streets are not yet paved and don't all have names on them so one tends to feel a bit lost and out in the sticks (at least I did). Am sure as this area develops and the streets are paved it will feel more part of the town. And, in truth, it's less than a 15 minute walk to the main street. In any case, as compensation the hotel...

The hotel and the room had a stylish, homely feel. Breakfast buffet was decent, if a bit repetitive for a longer stay. Dinner options were limited but there are plenty of good restaurants in town. Nice pool with jacuzzi and sauna. Spa did not seem to be open or, at least, eas not advertised. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel location was good, just a little walk to the town centre. The main issue we had with the room was the excessive heat, whixh made it difficult to sleep, and...

We had a nice stay, enjoyed the room with the fireplace and jacuzzi. Very friendly staff: the 2 gentlemen at the reception, the young man how was working at the bar and the old lady that was serving breakfast.

An Excellent Hotel with great facilities and very helpful staff. However, it is away from the town center and difficult to find. But once inside the hotel, it is great. It has a nice swimming pool with heating.

Lovely room with a view of the lake. Comfortable bed, very small shower. Great pool, spa was hit and miss, sauna working, steam room shut. Good breakfast. Free shuttle into town in the evening. Helpful staff.
