El Bodón Holidays from £266

The location of this hotel is perfect! It is across the street from the Royal Palace and within walking distance to Gran Via, Plaza Major, Plaza del Sol, etc. Staff was nice. Only thing was, I stood for 4 nights and the AC did not work. I brought it up to their attention twice and no one stopped by to take a look at it. They gave me instructions over the phone and it still didn't work. They also didn't have an Iron in the room.. I asked front desk for one and they said they didn't have enough and couldn't provide one for me so I had to walk around on my vacation with wrinkle clothes right out the luggage. On the 3rd day, I had to ask again and then they gave me one. Other than that, it was nice and property and room was clean and quite.

Really swish hotel. Very grand but also comfortable. Loved the big beds and walk in shower and roof top bar. Fabulous breakfast.

Very nice hotel and staff. It was a bit hard to find so that’s why I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars. It’s on the 5th floor btw. Also the bathroom smelled like sewage a few times coming from the drain, but it cleared on its own. Great location also!

Property is nice, but old and not that renovated location is good but not great, service is also good but not great
