"It was a wonderful day. The hosting family are fantastic. The house is incredibly located to all the natural visitation sites. I woke up one morning and walked down to the Glenfinnan viaduct approximately 1/2 mile do it first light and the bridge belongs to you and the red stag that showed up as I was approaching the bridge two of them actually the hotel next to the home has an amazing catering staff book a reservation. "Accommodations here are very basic, but it does the trick. Basic bed(s) in a small upstairs room with a small, but clean bathroom. Staff is super friendly and welcoming and that goes a long way. The restaurant serves quality food, including the made-to-order breakfast and the bar is well stocked and gets lively at night. I would recommend staying here but don't expect a 4 star experience. Great for a quick night stay or two, but might feel cramped longer than that."

"This is a cute little (emphasize little) B&B. The owner was wonderful, she cooked a delicious breakfast and was personable (love her cat and dog). The B&B was clean and well stocked. We took a star off because it is located well off the beaten track with poor dining options in the area and the room was very small. It was reported to have a king size bed but it was a queen size at best. We likely wouldn't stay again but would recommend for other couples, especially those who like animals."

"This Hotel was amazing. On arrival the check in staff was lovely and polite, the rooms looked a bit tired and small but the view was fantastic. The bar was well stocked with great service. The restaurant was brilliant, good menu and amazing food. Breakfast was equally as good. Great selection and great service."

"Having had quite a difficult journey, the staff at Loch Shiel hotel were utterly superb and went above and beyond for us. Not only were they kind, friendly and so patient but the amenities and room were fantastic. You have not experienced Scottish hospitality until you’ve been to this hotel! Food was delightful and only beaten by their wonderful service. There was a great lively pub down the stairs and the rooms were cosy, clean and so comfy! Couldn’t recommend the Loch Shiel Hotel enough!"
