L'Alsacienne - cosy gite

It is in this beautiful half-timbered Alsatian house that you will stay on the ground floor in the Alsatian cottage, comfortable, fully equipped, tastefully furnished and endowed with a lot of charm. It is good to stay and stroll in the streets of old Eguisheim, in the warm light that varies according to the seasons, thus enhancing the colourful palette of the houses nestled in the hollow of the ramparts.


The cottage L'Alsacienne is a beautiful little apartment on the ground floor of the residence. The entrance is on one level, just a small one works to enter the house.

The cottage is cosy, decorated to the taste of the day, fully equipped so that you have the best possible stay. The floor is tiled for more cleanliness and brings a certain freshness in summer.

You go directly into the fully equipped kitchen (large fridge, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and of course crockery and pans). You will even find a raclette machine to share a delicious meal in winter.

The kitchen is open to the living room. A comfortable sofa with an armchair to relax after your visits and walks in the nearby vineyard. A large storage cupboard is available in the living room.
After a small hallway is a separate toilet with washbasin. Opposite there is the bedroom with the shower room. The bedroom is magnificent with its stone wall which gives it an exceptional character. The bed is comfortable in size 160x200. A wardrobe with shelves will also allow you to settle in and put all your belongings.

The bathroom is small but functional composed of a shower, a vanity unit, and a heated towel rail. A vmc ensures its good ventilation.

For your comfort, beds are made before arrival, as well as towels and bath towels provided in the bathroom.

Fibre WIFI is available in the apartment.

In winter, the heating is optimal with radiators in each room that everyone can adjust to their liking. The central heating is city gas for pleasant warmth when returning from visits to the Christmas markets and a cocooning stay.

It is in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in France and the "favourite village of the French in 2013" that these beautiful refurbished cottages are located. A very central location in the village, close to all shops and yet very quiet.

Eguisheim, the cradle of the Alsatian vineyards, is backed by gentle hills planted with vines. Located at an altitude of 210 metres, in the heart of Alsace, this wine-growing village spreads out the 339 hectares of its terroir 5 kilometres from Colmar and close to Strasbourg, Fribourg and Basel, European capitals, allowing you to discover many things in the surrounding area and to taste the good Alsatian gastronomy.

After a small corridor is a separate toilet. On either side there is the bedroom and the bathroom. The bedroom is decorated in soft tones for a peaceful sleep. The bed is comfortable King dose size (180x200.) A wardrobe with shelves will also allow you to settle in and put all your belongings.

The bathroom opposite has just been retiled in June 2021 now offering a beautiful shower, a vanity unit, and a towel dryer. A vmc ensures its good ventilation.
