KITCHEN AND DINING

The well-equipped kitchen has an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, plus a toaster, blender, slow cooker and water kettle. We provide pots and pans, a baking sheet, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses. Brew a pot in the drip coffee maker with our starter packs of Door County Coffee, or bring your own pods and grounds for the Keurig and French press. Eat at the dining table or out on the deck.

Other provided supplies include starter packs of Door County Coffee and filters, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, and dishwasher and laundry supplies. Body soap and shower gel, a hair dryer, an iron, hangers and portable fans are provided. A first aid kit, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher are on site.



Guest Access:

Guests have the entire property, including the main house, the driveway, the large wrap-around deck, the fire pit and the wooded lot. Parking is available for up to three vehicles in the driveway.



The Neighborhood:

This home sits tucked in the woods on a two-acre lot at the end of a private, winding gravel drive in Egg Harbor, with views of the water from the deck. Downtown Egg Harbor's shops, galleries and restaurants are a short drive away, and nearby favorites include Frank E. Murphy County Park for beach days and Door Peninsula Winery for tastings. Private snow removal keeps the drive clear in the off-season.



Getting Around:

A car is needed to reach and explore this home. The private drive is gravel, not paved, and parking is available for up to three vehicles. If significant snow is in the forecast, we're happy to work with you on rescheduling.

Bay View Retreat is professionally managed by DoCo Vacations, a locally owned Door County vacation rental company. DoCo arranges professional cleaning between stays and handles guest communication and after-hours phone support for emergencies or any other questions. Our standard check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and our standard check-out time is 10:00 a.m.. Furniture and decor may differ from the photos.

•The home is on well water, which is typical here and can have a higher iron content and a noticeable smell.

•The property is served by an LP gas tank and septic system, which occasionally need service visits; we'll do our best to let you know in advance.

•The home is in a wooded setting. You may encounter mosquitoes, spiders and other insects.



Interaction with Guests:

We pride ourselves on creating a streamlined experience whenever and wherever possible. You'll check in with a keypad door lock. You'll receive all of your check-in instructions digitally, along with our digital guidebook of favorite Door County spots.
