Top Eel Lake Oyster Farm Hotel Reviews
NEW AGE MOTEL INN
10/10 Excellent
"After really bad experience in Bridgewater, NS, New Age Motel Inn was a gem! The reception area doesn't seem exciting but the room was spacious, clean, well placed furniture, clean with a rug at door, which helped us keep our shoes at the entrance. We really loved this place. Plus it was just a few minutes from Yarmouth downtown. We wish we had an extra night in our plan! Thank you Hanna (at the reception for a smooth check-in)."
Comfort Inn
8/10 Good
"The water in the bathroom sink was very slow to empty, and when using the stopper, it did not keep the water, we were disappointed that there was no patio door key entry. I had to lock the patio door from inside, and my husband had to pick me up at the front entrance"
NovaStar Motel On The Lake
8/10 Good
"There room and bedding were clean. The kitchen was clean. There availability of cutlery and crockery were fair"
Adorable Oceanfront Tiny Home 30 minutes from Yarmouth
10/10 Excellent
"We were very impressed with the home we stayed at. A beautiful location among gorgeous scenery. Most of all our hosts were so friendly and helpful in making our stay a wonderful experience! Almost like family. Very charming. We loved the trip and will go back. Thank you VRBO. Excellent"
Ye Olde Argyler Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"This may be the nicest place I have ever booked. A nice solitary cabin right next to the water on Lobster Bay. The property manager was so helpful and communicative - a must since we had a late check in. The cabin was nice and spacious, and everything seemed new. A patio overlooking the ocean with a firepit. I only wish we had stayed longer!"
Beautiful Four Bedroom House with a Stunning view of the Chebogue River
10/10 Excellent
"The home was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The home was well stocked with supplies. Parking was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable as well. The hosts were great with contact. My group of friends and I would certainly stay there again!"
Nautical Themed one bedroom fully equipped apartment.
10/10 Excellent
"Our second time here, just as perfect at the first! Great place, would absolutely recommend!"
Modern Guest Suite with Gym & Sauna
10/10 Excellent
"The owners thought of everything and our stay was amazing. Highly recommend staying at either of the owners properties - they have great recommendations on things to do and you feel like you're at home away from home."
Beautiful Hilltop Waterfront cottage, private getaway, quiet lake front cottage
8/10 Good
"The cottage is beautiful. The location is spectacular. Here are my concerns: 1. smoke detector/CO2 detector were functional.2. Although a BBQ was advertised....no BBQ.3. Unable to lock the cabin as no code was given for secure key system on door.4. No advance information about the access to the loft - a ladder!5. no firewood wood stove and fire pit although it was promised.6. 4 towels for 3 adults & a child for 6 days. no face clothes. that's scant.7. There is virtually no lighting in the bathroom. All the lights are so dim that they are useless.8. The WIFI password in the information booklet was incorrect. 9. 2 emails sent to Devon by email prior to trip. no response to date. 10. The play area is on an old deck that is rotten. My granddaughter fell through and had some nasty scratches. Lucky it was not a more serious injury.12, no garbage cans in bedrooms. no garbage or recycle bags.As I said, the cottage itself is wonderful. Beds and linens great. The kitchen is well stocked. The furniture is in good condition and comfortable. The waterfront has a lovely sitting area. paddleboat was fun. I think the owner just needs to review his advertising ( mention the ladder), update the WIFI password, keep in touch with clients, remove the old rotten deck, more towels. supply firewood, fix the smoke/c02 detectors, supply garbage/recycle bags."
