"Check in was noon. We were almost to the house about 2:00pm and still hadn’t received any check-in information, so I had to reach out to the owner. He responded quickly with the door code and wi-fi password. Once we walked in, we noticed the floors downstairs and upstairs had not been swept and the living room rug had not been vacuumed. I reached out to the owner just to let him know in case he was using a cleaning company. He told me the mess was probably him bringing in toilet paper and paper...

Postcard Cabins Ozark Highlands, Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy

10/10 Excellent

"The property was absolutely lovely! It was peaceful and nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. I absolutely loved that it was pet friendly and it made for a nice getaway for my fiancé and I. All good except we did not have but one packet of caffeinated coffee, which it says we should have four. And no one ever came by to replenish our goods in the afternoon. I am pretty sure that we got charged for that fee so if so, I would like to have that reduced off of the cost of what we paid. Again thank you for the getaway, “We definately will be back & spreading the word.”"

Brownstone - Amazing 3,600 SF home SLEEPS 18 --Game room--HOT TUB

10/10 Excellent

"As an avid traveler we have stayed at many VRBO properties. This was easily one of the best experiences we had. The house is beautiful and hot tub/ deck/ game room was perfect for our family, and all got a lot of use. The view is unmatched! The hosts really did a great job with this property, down to the small details - Example: every bed had 6-8 pillows of every size and level of softness/ shape, so no matter one’s preference, you are sure to have a great rest! We appreciated the stocked kitchen, as we hosted a few family dinners. We’ve already discussed renting this house again next time we are in LOTO. Thanks for a most excellent stay!"

The Lighthouse - 2026 VRBO OF THE YEAR - Private Heated Pool & Golf Course 7k SF

10/10 Excellent

"The Lighthouse was the perfect venue for our wedding! The home was beautiful, with incredible views of the Lake of the Ozarks. Anthony was very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day with family and friends. It truly was a dream come true, and we look forward to coming back to celebrate our anniversary!"

Lake Breeze Resort

8/10 Good

"I did not realize the room was adjacent to other rooms I thought it was by itself. I could not tell but I also did not ask although not sure how I can ask ahead of time. It was not obvious to me based on pictures but I may not have seen them all. It was a minor thing. I could not figure out how to lower the heat temp on the wall unit with the remote but again I forgot to ask until we were leaving but again very minor. The host told me about the mennonite community nearby and how to get there and about local restaurants and much more. The road to turn off to get there is a little tricky so pay attention at night as i passed it first time. I was right by the loading dock area so it was noisy early in the morning but not terrible. This is why I am giving a good review. Very friendly. The bed as a little stiff but I slept ok. If you like stiff you will love the king bed,"

10/10 Excellent

"Great place for a big family. Plenty of room, great kitchen, nice game room in the basement, awesome hot tub and the theater room was a big hit with the family. Boat dock was also popular for fishing, swimming and they have a couple of kayaks as well. Parking out front was adequate. Great place!"
