Such a beautiful and welcoming space. The outdoor patio was amazing and we even got to see baby geese in the pond!!

Relaxing stay
Our second stay, but in a different house (Butterfly). Pics on line are old and should be updated to avoid disappointment. House was clean, beds were comfy. We used the fire pit and explored the hiking trails. Feels like an old fishing camp. We came for the lake, views and peace and quiet, and enjoyed our stay.
My family of four had a wonderful long weekend stay at this spacious lake house located on a private lake. We hosted a fairly large group of friends with kids for a cookout on one day, and everyone had an incredible time fishing and pedal boating and even watching the Longhorn cattle being fed! The host is accessible, kind and very gracious and went out of his way to make sure our stay was great. We had a small glitch at check in with the door code and he personally showed up to fix it and make sure we were completely taken care of.
If you are looking for a spacious, impeccably clean lakehouse for a quiet stay with family or friends this place is hard to beat. The kitchen is well equipped, the grill is high quality, and with only a couple of other rentals on the property guests have essentially unlimited access to pedal boating, kayaking, fishing, and secluded nature views. We will definitely be back.
Great property. We’ve been coming for years for our annual trip to the First Monday Flea Market in Canton but this was our first time staying at Butterfly. It was a great stay as always and we will definitely stay again next year.
It was beautiful and very peaceful. We stayed on the enclosed porch every evening. We came to relax and to visit the Trade Days in a nearby town. It was great just being there!
The Butterfly house is spacious and the views are beautiful. Very quiet, peaceful and great for relaxing. You can fish, hike, play sand volleyball, or simply sit out and enjoy the view.
Love the location and privacy but... our second stay could have been better. Tired/over used linens for beds and bath, burnt out bulbs and accent lighting, no internet or tv service (when contacting support- it was noted we just won't have it), lukewarm water, microwave not working properly. Would like to know that things will change and possibly we can stay again some day.
Beautiful lake- house nice, outdoor furniture awful
Beautiful location and inside of the house was clean and nice; beautiful rustic decor! All twin beds were comfortable, however very noisy and rickety.
Enclosed patio could use updated furniture, as all chairs were pretty uncomfortable (rod iron, old/dirty chair pads). Didn’t stop us from using them but just fair warning.
Grill on patio worked well but be sure to bring your own charcoals!
Overall the grounds and views were beautiful.
Although it really did look like what you se on line, the solitude and natural beauty could never be captured by camera. Birds, frogs, and an occasional fish splash only added to the conversation on the deck each morning and evening. The whole family wants this adventure to become an
ArcRidge annual tradition.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house and location were great. It was definitely a secluded get away. Management was accommodating with a needed reschedule due to an emergency. We were very thankful for their kindness in the matter.
I guess my only minor comment or suggestion would be to replace the master flooring, keeping carpet clean is always an extreme chore.
Great fishing. We enjoyed our stay. The house needs more cleaning and repair —- lots of cobwebs, microwave “0” button doesn’t work, broken windows. Minor stuff in the grand scheme of things.
We Stayed at the Butterfly cabin over the weekend. clean and spacious for our family of five. Easy access to bank fishing or paddle boats. Big deck for grilling out, enjoying the scenery. We will be back in the fall!
We had a wonderful stay. The property is well kept and beautiful. The house is very spacious and clean. Lots of room for everyone to have their own space. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We loved the above the kitchen cabinets lighting. There are a lot of light switches and we never figured them out completely, but all the lights outside worked. Our daily visits from the property dogs were fun and the dogs loved watching us through the glass door. The geese worked as a alarm clock every morning. Steve the manager was helpful and answered the phone on the second ring even when we called late Thursday night. This is location if you are visiting Canton Trade Days, only about 15 minutes from the parking lots. Kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. This would be a great location for family reunions the property has 4 houses on it.
We had a great time. Plenty of room for two families. We caught a lot of bass and my brother caught 2 big ones. We played outside, walked the trails, rode on the paddle boat, and grilled at night. Would definitely do it again.

The place is beautiful and a great getaway during nice weather.
Very peaceful except for dog in another cabin barking constantly. We left a day early due to that. Otherwise the place is perfect for Spring , Summer and early Fall. Very nice house and has everything you could ask for. A little off the beaten path so take what you need. I would stay again as long as dog was gone. Could not get a hold of property owner except during rental and was told he had nothing to do with rental. Its still fairly easy. Good fishing too.
A place to escape from civilization. The short time we stayed, we were taking in the beautiful lay of the landscape walking through the trails overlooking the lake, the cabin itself…..so much to describe. Our stay was not long enough and will definitely be coming back.
The Butterfly cabin at Arc Ridge Ranch was the perfect choice for our long weekend stay. Beautiful view of the lake from the oversized deck while sitting under the twinkling lights. The cabin was cozy and had plenty of rokm for six adukts to visit, cook, play games, etc. And the fishing was great! Steve, the property/ranch manager was extremely helpful and very responsive. The ranch would be the perfect place to host a family reunion or holiday event.
