The beds were great, comfortable and seemed clean. The area around the property is dirty. The Parkade area is very smelly. The hotel room could use a deep clean. No lobby coffee or tea. Staff was nice. An overnight lobby clean would be appreciated. I understand not making the rooms up daily, but a restock would’ve been lovely.

The location is the best part about this hotel. The room itself is honestly not that bad for the price but the price is a bit overpriced

It is very nice BUT our room did not get cleaned as the front desk did not specify that we needed to have the card on the door..... they should specify that to everyone at check in

Ice was only available on two floors and they never mention that to you while checking in. They also had key cards that stopped working the moment you bring it near a phone, so I had to exchange it multiple times. The rooms were very clean however and spacious. Parking wasn’t free which was also a little disappointing.

Hi Steven,At the onset we apologize for the inconvenience caused during your stay. We do have 11 ice machines on guest floors, we will definitely have our maintenance team to check of any issues. Being a downtown hotel, the parking services at the hotel are available for our guests to avail at a per night cost. I assure you that the charges at Sandman are very competent to other hotels in the close vicinity. Apparently the hotel doesn’t own the parking lot & we only facilitate this service for our guests. The amount charged is the actual cost to the hotel for the parking. We sincerely hope for your continued patronage.Regards
