My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved the layout of the house and it was so nice to stay to right on the beach. Perfect location on Edisto Island! We would definitely come visit again.

We were surprised to find out it was a duplex and not an entire house. There were also a few broken things throughout the house (the toilet handle in the downstairs bathroom, the microwave handle in the kitchen). But the view was indeed stunning and the beach was very nice and quiet!

Comfy and cozy home. Loved its location on the quiet/peaceful part of the island. Loved that it’s only a very short walk to the water. Guests should be aware this property is a duplex. That was not clearly stated on the home’s description when I first booked it.

Sunset on the sound
I have been coming to Edisto for over 40 years. Sunset on the Sound is the house I have stayed in the most, usually whenever it is available. I like being on the sound, watching sunsets from the screen porch, and the space to accommodate several guests. It is a very comfortable house that I hope to continue renting.
