Great Apartment

We enjoyed the apartment during our stay in Edinburgh. It was within walking distance of the major landmarks and easy access to restaurants and supermarket. The laundry room was easily accessible and provided us an opportunity to do laundry without leaving the building.

Best Place in Edinburgh

The unit is amazing and so is the host. The view of the castle is spectacular and the location puts you in walking distance to everything. It is extremely well equipped with appliances, amenities, and extras, showing the host wants her guests to enjoy their stay. She is very communicative and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome.

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and cozy flat. With beautiful views, restaurants and stores within walking distance, and the castle only a short walk, this was the perfect spot for us. Maureen gave us a warm welcome with fresh fruit and flowers. We hope to return soon.

Great Location for Edinburgh and Fringe

Apartment was perfect for 2 people visiting Edinburgh for first time. Location was convenient for easy walk to sight seeing areas and Fringe activities. Really appreciated Maureen accommodating our very late check in. Staying in this apartment provided a perfect ending to our 2+ week vacation in Ireland and Scotland.

Fantastic location to explore Edinburgh!

Maureen the host was amazing and greeted us when we arrived. The location was great, a little off of the main touristy roads but a 10-15 minute walk to everything. Highly recommend booking this place for a couples trip as it’s a great home base for Edinburgh. If you do, be sure to go to Hey Palu (a great cocktail bar right around the corner.

Great Apartment and Great Location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in July 2024. Spacious for two. Maureen was a very gracious and accommodating host. This is a fantastic location for short walks to the Royal Mile and New Town. Great view of Edinburgh Castle! Walk to the Tram and Train. Great food and pubs nearby.

A great find

The best flat with the best view!

Maureen is by far the best host I’ve ever had the pleasure of renting from! She was so polite, accommodating, cheerful, and conversational. Her flat is absolutely gorgeous, very clean and easy to get to, and the view from the windows of Lothian Road and Edinburgh Castle is unparalleled! Highly recommend staying here; we loved it!

Perfect First Trip To Edinburgh

My wife and I visited Edinburgh for the first time during a long overdue vacation. The apartment was perfect for us. It was close to all the main sights with wonderful views of the castle. Maureen was very helpful and made it easy for us to check in after a long trip. Overall, we really enjoyed our time staying at the apartment. It was clean with charming updates and furniture, a nice kitchen, and a comfortable, cozy bed. We would highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment well located

This lovely, modern apartment was very comfortable and well stocked. It is located wihin walking distance of Edinburgh's most famous sites. Maureen, the host, was so helpful and friendly. She met us upon arrival and was available when needed. The apartment is on the fourth floor and has a lift for ease of access. Because it's on the top floor, you have a wonderful view of Edinburgh Castle from the bedroom and living room windows. We loved our two week stay and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great location; Immaculate Apartment

The apartment's location allowed for easy access to the Royal Mile. Many dining options in the area. Unexpected and very much appreciated extras included fresh flowers, fruit, milk, tea and coffee. Maureen met us at the apartment to welcome us and explain everything. Communication via text was easy. The king size bed was the most comfortable bed we had on our GB trip! I highly recommend this apartment. It was perfect for us.

Edinburgh Flat

This property was perfect for our stay in Edinburgh! Great location, walking distance to the castle, Royal mile and other sites, but there are also busses nearby if needed. A few different grocery stores are also nearby along with many restaurants. The flat was perfectly clean as well. The bedroom is large with room to hang clothes and leave luggage. The little storage room has a place to hang dry clothes and there is also a laundry room in the building. The host very thoughtfully provided laundry detergent, dish detergents and really nice soaps and shampoo/conditioner as well. She also provided coffee, cookies and fresh fruit. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this property!

We selected this property due to its location and amenities. The flat was simply perfect. A large comfortable oversized King sized bed in a large bedroom with a superb view of Edinburgh Castle. The bathroom was very well fitted with no issues regarding hot water. The kitchen was modern and equipped for eating meals in the flat. The living area had a good sized TV with Net Flix. The in building laundry facility is cheap and very clean. The secure wifi was a great benefit. Many bus routes can be accessed just outside the front door. The immediate area has a vast choice of restaurants, shops and attractions. The host of this flat, Maureen, was fabulous to deal with. Her property is kept in immaculate shape and she made us feel very welcome at check in. She also left us with a supply of milk, tea, coffee, fruit and cleaning products. This flat is a must when visiting Edinburgh.

Stunning flat in Edinburgh

Wow! This flat is more like a boutique hotel suite. The high ceilings and huge windows make it incredibly airy and bright, and the furniture and finishes are top-notch. The kitchen is a cook's dream—you could easily cook anything you wanted. The living space is cozy and elegant, and the bedroom is huge, with a massive, comfortable king-sized bed we never wanted to get out of. There's a big closet for storing clothes as well. The bathroom is small but beautifully appointed and has tons of shelving for storing toiletries (something often lacking in other rentals). Our host met us at the property and was kind and warm, sharing lots of local information and helping us get settled in. Best of all, there's a lift (elevator) to the fourth-floor flat. The street (Lothian Road) is very busy and noisy during the day and evening, so it's best not to sleep with the windows open (and bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper) but the location is fantastic, with plenty of grocery shops and restaurants nearby, and the view of Edinburgh Castle is stunning. Several bus routes run along the road below for easy transport around town. We never wanted to leave and we hope to come back one day for another stay!
