At first glance it's an amazing hotel, but we soon realized the cons tended to outweigh the pros. We stayed in a room on the top floor and there was a huge crack in the wall of the bathroom, with insulation exposed. The window in the bathroom could not be closed all the way, and the frosting was worn off so there was no privacy. We put two pillows in front of it and figured it would be fine, but overnight several bees flew in through the opening, which REALLY complicated our morning. Also, the kind bed was actually two twins pushed together and was not very comfortable.
To be fair, we did not bring these issues to the attention of the hotel staff since our stay was short. Perhaps they could have fixed the situation.
We also ate at the hotel restaurant and thought the food, drink, and service were superb. Otherwise, the hotel was safe, quiet, friendly, and located very close to the city.
