Lovely flat. Well stocked with all the essentials. Spotlessly clean. There was milk in the fridge which was appreciated and lovely biscuits to have with my wee cup of tea - thanks. There is a bus stop a very short walk away - literally just around the corner. This takes you into the city. The buses are very regular. We stayed to attend a concert at murrayfield which we walked to in around 20 mins. The flat also has its own parking space which was great to have. There are shops/supermarkets across the road for essentials if you need them. Would definitely stay again in the future especially due to location. Great base for exploring Edinburgh or walking to Murrayfield.

4 adults travelling. Master bedroom comfortable and quiet, lovely sitting area, full kitchen and bath. Convenient grocery store across the street. Dean Village approx. 30 minute walk. Unfortunately the 2nd bedroom was not suitable for adults with sagging mattresses, yellowed pillow cases, thin rough towels were left. When we arrived there was a strong room spray used throughout the apartment which took 48 hours to dissipate. Would recommend for a couple staying but it is quite far from the centre of Edinburgh.

Our stay in Edinburgh

We really enjoyed Fiona’s place, and its location as well, close to shopping and not far from the old town. Her place is clean, quiet, and had all we needed for a comfortable stay.

Hogmanay in Edinburgh

We absolutely fell in love with the ancient and historically beautiful city of Edinburgh. We were so grateful for the spacious accommodation and newly renovated bathroom and shower. Fiona was so great about communicating with us and making our stay top notch.

Edinburgh visit

We stayed at at this flat for three nights. Kitchen was stocked , bedrooms were clean and sufficient and living room was a comfortable place to relax. We felt the apartment could be heated longer as the heat came on only twice for an hour throughout the day.

Great flat and location

The flat was immaculate, suited our purpose very well and was well located for taking an Uber in to the centre of Edinburgh - fare on average was 11. There is also a very handy bus stop about 200 metres away. The area was very quiet and well looked after. The flat itself was well equipped with lots of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. the only thing that missing, as in so many properties, was a hand towel in the kitchen! The beds were very comfortable and were a good size. I would highly recommend the property and would certainly return.

Nice flat in Edinburgh

This is a 2-bedroom, 1 bath flat in Edinburgh. It is a 3rd floor walk-up (4th floor to Americans), so be aware of that if you have mobility issues - there is no lift. There are two loveseats and a table seating 4 in the lounge. The kitchen is well-appointed, with an apartment-size refrigerator. There is a washer only, no dryer. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable.

Good location to explore Edinburgh

The flat is nice and tidy, with a big parking space – everything as described (bath/fully equipped kitchen). The perfect view on the castle and the old town is a little encumbered by nearby trees, but that's all – if you're surprised by the stairs and no elevator you did not read closely enough :) Biggest plus is the bus stop with regular connection to the city centre around the corner (two lines, 15 minute drive), the big shopping centre just across the street and two gas stations in the immediate surrounding. Communication with Fiona was prompt and friendly. I'd definetely check back with her first should I return to Edinburgh which is quite possible. Thx for everything

3 night stay in Edinburgh.

This was our first trip to Edinburgh for our family. The apartment was perfect as it is super clean, large enough for a family of 4 adults to spread out a bit. It is in a great location just around the corner from a bus stop that will take you right in to the Center of Edinburgh. Uber rides were also very affordable from the apartment location to the heart of Edinburgh. There is a large grocery as well as a pharmacy and a Starbucks just a couple of minutes walk away. The grocery store has everything you might need including delicious pastries. Fiona gave great instructions on accessing the apartment upon our arrival and there is a dedicated parking spot in the apartment car park should you have a car. The apartment is super quiet. We never saw nor heard another neighbour. The only thing I would give a heads up about is the apartment is located on the 3rd floor without elevator. It wasn’t a problem for us as we are all in decent shape but if you have any physical limitations it could make things a bit difficult.

First of all, the apartment was very clean. The nearby buses got us anywhere we wanted to go in a short time. And whenever we weren’t sure the people of Edinburgh stepped up to help. Nearby shops were helpful we could keep some snacks and a quick breakfast in the apartment. There was no lift and a lot of steps but we handled ok, but if you have mobility issues it could be a problem. Fiona was helpful and responsive to our needs. Overall, a good choice.
