A perfect location for Holyrood and Arthur's Seat which we really enjoyed and found very beautiful. Approximately 10-15 minute walk to the Royal Mile and 20-25 minutes to Waverley station. Buses travel near the apartment but we never took them. Many thanks to Ben and Ollie for their fast and attentive responses at all times. It was beautifully designed and cozy. I wish those responsible for the exterior maintenance would take half as much care. I would tell anyone not to be put off by the entrance foyer and stairwell. They are dank and dark but the apartment was perfect. The area was also very nicely located. We were originally supposed to stay for 3 nights but only got to enjoy two due to a fiasco with the airline getting us to Scotland. We stayed one night then joined a tour group to travel all over Scotland. Everyone on the tour asked where we were staying in the city and they were all envious of our location. It truly is near everything. The owner was response and courteous. The simplicity and clean modern look was to our liking and a nice surprise to the overall building. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. The bathroom, though small had a great shower. This set up works well for a couple traveling and not wanting to eat out all of the time. Of course the location to Holyrood park and the Royal mile couldn't have been better. Easy walking and bus transport also a plus. The apartment itself is clean and modern, the kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for a few days’ stay. The shower is nice too, just wish the sink was a bit larger! We were exceptionally happy with this apartment. It was such a treat to be just steps from Holyrood Park, and everything else in wonderful Edinburgh was within easy walking distance. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable, five day stay; the owners (Ben and his brother) have put much thought and care into providing for their guests, and the binder-full of local info is very comprehensive--we wish we could have fit in all of the recommendations, but we did our best! For such a centrally-located place, the street is surprisingly quiet--very peaceful at night. We would love to return again--thank you!! ##### Tay D.
