Quiet and peaceful but only a 10 minute walk to the bustling city centre. Sleeps 4 comfortably in 2 bedrooms, one a glamorous four poster king size bed with en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom either as 2 single or a king size bed with an en suite shower room. The sitting room, which overlooks a leafy patio garden, has a dining table, TV and antique fireplace. There is a separate loo which is convenient for guests. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and washer/dryer. A minute away is the fabulous private Dean Gardens , a 7 acre park and woodlands, so pretty all year round. A key is provided on request. The Water of Leith walkway is across from the flat with a riverside walk all the way down to the Port of Leith or up to the Galleries of Modern Art. Check in time is 3pm and check out is 10am but if I can be flexible with this I will certainly try especially with luggage drop off and collection. Please just ask. Our host, Emma, was so responsive to any questions we had and the attention to detail in the flat to make guests comfortable was amazing. Really the nicest vacation rental ever. We loved this beautiful home in the Stockbridge area. It was tastefully decorated and had all of the amenities needed. Listing was accurate. It was easy to get to all of the Edinburgh attractions (castle, Royal Mile, etc.) and the area of Stockbridge was charming with good restaurants, cafes and a Sunday street market. Our host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage a bit longer while we went to church on Easter Sunday.
