We're also delighted that you enjoyed the apartment's central location within short walking distance of Waverley train station and other Edinburgh landmarks. We also appreciate your feedback on the downsides you mentioned in your review. We're sorry to hear that the washer-dryer didn't totally dry your clothes. We don't advertise the dryer because this is a common shortfall with these machines. Nonetheless we think it still benefits guests to be able to accelerate the drying of their clothes during their stay. Regarding the windows in the apartment, we can confirm that all of them can be opened; however, as they are double glazed to prevent noise from the street, you may find them difficult to open if you aren't familiar with the style, but our team is always happy to help should you encounter this issue on your next visit. Most guests find the soft beds in the apartment comfortable but of course this comes down to personal preference. As for the check-in arrangement, we endeavour to meet all our guests to ensure they understand how to use the amenities in the apartment. As many of our guests are visiting Edinburgh for the first time, we've been informed that they find it helpful to be welcomed in person where they have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have.
