Additionally, because it was warm in the apartment with no air conditioning, we had to open the windows and then lots of flies and bees swarmed into the apartment. It's just amazing and view of the castle is stunning. People that want to stay need to be prepared for a very difficult climb up a winding staircase to the fourth floor not to mention the initial flight of steps to the building door. Location was fantastic, right near the castle at the top of the Royal Mile. Other than the stairs to get up to the apartment was easy to go anywhere. Now about the stairs...they were no joke....we knew about them and were ready for them on arrival but if you are not fairly fit you may have to pause two or three times going up. other than the stairs ##### Patti S.
