Overall a great stay. Convenient to everything we wanted to do. My parents who are 67/66 were fine with the stairs up the apartment. Very communicative and had good check in and check out instructions. You’ll get a manual that explains how things work in the apartment. I’m glad the place had all the amenities but using the washer/dryer was frustrating because it took hours to wash/dry clothing.

George Street Apartment

The property is in a great location right in the centre of Edinburgh. The instructions we were given said there was on street parking which we wanted to use to unload our car but sadly the road was closed as they were taking down the ice rink that must have been there over the Christmas period. It would’ve been nice to have been advised of this as we ended up parking around the corner and making a couple of trips to unload. Also the key is collected from a lock box on another street. This is fine but the lock box is so low down you have to be on your knees to open it and sadly when I returned this morning to put the key back someone had urinated in the entrance door way beside the lock box. Not good. It should be placed higher up the wall. The property itself was lovely however a couple of basic items missing. No scissors in the kitchen, a lack of baking trays, light in the oven not working, plug in bathroom broken and corner kitchen cupboard awkward to get into. We also couldn’t get the regular tv to work as it was linked to someone’s account??? Even though we had these issues we would definitely stay here again.

Nice Apartment

Excellent for someone who appreciates a more "home feeling" rather than a traditional hotel. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the lockbox not being located at the property. Not ideal with heavy luggage and an early flight for check out.
