The room was very well maintained, spotless and decorated with taste. It had a modern feel which has been a rarity in most of the motels I have stayed in. I had everything needed in the room: Wi-Fi, TV, microwave, a fridge and a coffee maker which made the stay very comfortable. There was also a pool outside however it was off season so it was closed. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location was great: just a short drive to the center of town as well as the Luray caverns and close to the entrance of the Shenandoah national park which was fantastic for hiking. This place is just a gem!" The dinner and a drink in the Speakeasy is well done and much appreciated after a day exploring the area. We spent time fishing the South Fork Shenandoah and then came “home” to our base at the Mimslyn. Core memories."
