We really like the location as it puts you within easy reach of Damariscotta, Boothbay and Pemaquid. The place is comfortable and clean. Check in and check out was pretty easy. Really liked having the Keurig for coffee in the morning. Was able to have an outdoor fire and toast some marshmallows. All was as expected. Jeff the host was in touch and helpful. My only suggestion would be a bit of decluttering. The cottage is wonderfully decorated, but we found ourselves having to move furniture and decor in order to get around. In particular in the bedroom there is no room for a suitcase, as there is a big comfy chair just under the open closet. It didn't impact our stay, but it made the place feel a little full. There was some traffic noise from Route 1 during the day, but very quiet at night. We had an initial issue, but Jeff immediately communicated back to us and the issue was fixed the next morning by a very friendly property maintenance guy named Mike. We were appreciative. A/C worked great and one evening we needed a tad of heat and that too worked great. Stayed 4 nights in Jun 2025 ### 2/10 Terrible #### Dianne A. 8 Oct 2024 Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Property conditions and standard amenities We originally booked and were charged for this cottage in August, Payment was actually remitted in Sept. (a month prior to usage) Upon arrival we found the property to be in a rather unattended condition without any working internet, wireless, or cable televisions utilities The fire pit and grill appeared unusable In their present condition. After having just finishing radiation therapy, it would have been much too uncomfortable living in the environment offered. There appears to be some misunderstanding as to a potential refund.
