Edgar Degas House Creole Impressionist Tour

We read the reviews after booking (we were already en route) and we were SO worried. It ended up being a WONDERFUL stay. Front desk: Everyone was SO nice, including chatting up my super talkative child. They also let us know to request towels or housekeeping downstairs, but we had no issues with them. Room: We had a queen bed double room, it was clean, no weird smells. The sink & shower did drain slowly but I think thats a design flaw and nothing else. I thought the sink was closed. The room was comfortable, roomy, clean, mostly quiet...we could hear our neighbors opening/closing blinds but that was the only thing. There were plugs all over the room, but the ones closest to the bed were a bit iffy as to whether or not they worked. No big deal, we plugged our phones in farther away to charge. Location: A highly rated feature and one I definitely agree with. We were in walking distance of everything in the French quarter. We walked to Gumbo Shop for dinner (fantastic gumbo & prices), walked through the quarter shopping, we walked to Cafe du Monde and Jackson Square, the cathedral, French market, the MS river, we had Fiery Crab for dinner which is super close, saw some Mardi Gras parades on Canal, we had breakfast at the super nearby Lux Cafe. We did end up driving to City Park, we had our car and paid to park directly across the street. It was about $100 for 3.5 days. Overall, the Troubadour allowed us to have a wonderful time in New Orleans during Mardi Gras, THANK YOU!

The room was very well appointed and had a cool vibe. Very clean as well. The lounge was fun for happy hour and the drink selection was enjoyable...The only complaint I have is that I forgot my phone charger & cable in the room when I checked out. I called when I got home and was directed to Housekeeping Lost & Found. They never even returned my call. Very disappointed. If they have such a service, it needs to be better managed.
