"We stayed at Feathered Acres relatively last minute (thanks Trisha!!) after making some travel plan changes and we had such a wonderful time. Travelled with mom and my two toddlers and we all had a blast. We stayed in the smaller studio unit the first night and the larger two bedroom unit the second night and both were so cute, thoughtful and comfortable! "The previous manager of the hotel is now the new owner. She purchased it in June with her son. She is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. There was very good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower. The continental breakfast was simple, but adequate. Cereal, bagels, toast, fruit and OJ. The coffee was good. The new owner told my wife and I about her ideas for the place. She plans on changing the name, and painting the outside. She also said she is planning on starting to serve hot breakfast food soon. It's a great place to stay with a dog. The owner loves dogs. My wife and I recommend it."

"The staff was very nice and friendly from the time I arrived. The room was clean and ready even for an early check-in. The rooms are a bit dated so don’t expect “modern”. The breakfast was great and they even made the eggs and sausage when I came down so they were hot and fresh. Overall I really enjoyed my stay even though the property is a bit dated. The family who owns and runs it are super nice and work so hard to give you a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to folks but just don’t have high expectations of the property itself. The hot tub was great and the pool looked amazing but didn’t get in."
