Very comfortable and cozy place that met all of our needs. Nicely updated kitchen and bath, living room and comfortable beds. The house was toasty despite the very cold weather this weekend. Just a note to others since it wasn't obvious to me in the listing (condo?) but this house is half of a duplex although the other half was quiet probably due to the winter holiday while school is out perhaps so it wasn't a problem. Could be a student rental (easy walking distance to UWEC campus) I have no idea. Thanks again! ##### Bruce M. The house itself was lovely, but halfway through our stay the door code was changed on us, and we were completely locked out in winter for a large part of the day trying desperately to contact the host. Unfortunately this listing through VRBO is actually a large vacation rental company that does not monitor VRBO and does not provide a direct way to contact a local host. We called, emailed, messaged in app multiple times each before finally getting through by phone.
