"The staff was friendly, inviting, helpful, and professional. The room was spotless, quiet, and the bed was comfortable; pretty much what you’d want in a nice hotel room. The breakfast was surprisingly subpar though. The oatmeal was watery (a fellow guest told me that the previous day the oatmeal was much better), and my wife thought that the scrambled eggs, biscuits, and gravy were all rather flavorless. The coffee I got was warm but not hot; the other machine dispensed hot coffee. The waffle was very tasty. The other improvement we’d suggest would be the pillows. They were thick and really lumpy, in the sense that the filling wasn’t smooth and unnoticeable. Instead, it felt like they were filled with thick cotton balls. We’d never experienced such a thing. We didn’t mention it to the front desk because we returned to the hotel late after an event and were already tired and in bed before we realized how weird the pillows were. All in all we’d stay at the hotel again, but would have a back-up plan for breakfast and maybe bring our own pillows."

"The property is located in a lot of the shady area of Oakland but I feel safe being in this motel. When I arrived it was clean but we see some cigarette stain on the toilet seat and the AC knobs are all gone. No extra blankets only sheets so my kids and I were freezing at night. Since we’re just there for the concert it’s really close to Oakland arena and that’s what I’m looking for . If you have a car, u need to pay $6 for parking fee. Otherwise this property I will go back to only if I have an event in Oakland"

"It was a perfect retreat. The apartment was spotless, nicely decorated, efficient and in a tree lined neighborhood with stunning Victorian homes. It was quiet and walking distance to restaurants.Martha, the host, stopped by to make sure that we had everything we needed. She is extremely kind and offered suggestions of things to do while we were here. We will definitely be back. Thank you again Martha!!"

"It was a great way to experience the bay. The boat was decent but a little outdated and we were advised against cooking and showering. The marina had a fine shower and there was lots of good food in the area. Host was very friendly and quick to respond."

"Good value for its price. The lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful. The only issue was about the cleanliness. I had some spots on the towels, so I just used my own towel for shower. And there was a lot of women’s hair around my room, mostly on the bed. Otherwise everything was fine"

"Not gonna lie the at first looking at the reviews I thought it was gonna be bad but it Was rly great she showed me how to lock the gate not hard at all just a little common sense the house was 10/10 clean and the owner was super nice and cool and even came back weeks later to my house to give me back my hoodie that I left there 10/10 must try again"
