My 2nd stay recently would definitely recommend

Bit of a mixed bag. Our room was upgraded on arrival, which was a good start, but then told that anyone who doesn't book directly from their website has to pay £15 per person per day to use the spa. I guess this is their way of making back the price difference. Room was great. Dinner wasn't enjoyable, I would suggest avoiding the restaurant other than for breakfast. Food wasn't up to scratch, white wine brought out warm after a long wait, and surly service from one particular member of staff. Breakfast was generally good however. My partner (who has trained in massage) had a deep tissue massage in the spa, which was not to a good standard. The spa is called an 'Asian Spa' but a Thai massage is an extra £50 (£110 for standard 1 hour treatment / £160 for Thai). Also bear in mind the

Unsalted butter in the restaurant tastes like Lard, could do with a choice. Breakfast really good but very expensive, as were the bar prices.

Difficult to find but room was superb - would certainly give Holiday inn run for its money.

Great staff loved the swimming with a four year old.

So welcoming at all times Clean but the suites are looking tired in places That said I will not fault suite 2 it was the best comfortable bed I have stayed in The shower room was great and the lounge was to die for I will definitely return The parking was so easy
