"The property itself is nice. It has a pier and a pool and hot tub. The room was nice and spacious. Everything was very clean, almost too clean. When walking around after a shower, I reactivated some of the soap used to clean the floors and it became very slippery. The bed wasn’t bad, but we were Sun burnt and couldn’t sleep well, but thats not their fault. I will say that the floor above us was paper thin or there was a herd of antipope prancing around. It he breakfast was good. Overall it’s a good place to stay."

"Great location! The Refuge Inn's rooms were individually decorated and very quaint. A pony pen was next to the hotel that our grandkids loved to visit and feed corn kernels to the ponies. Staff was friendly and made us feel like guests not customers."

"Spectacular view, nice pool and breakfast was a plus. House keeping only came once. That was the only thing that kept if from being super!"

"Beautiful home and amazing views! We had a wonderful trip and Cape Charles is charming! Loved the amenities of the pool/gym and the ease of getting around on golf carts. We will definitely be back!"
