Farmstay in Eastern Cape

Prana Lodge has a great location above a long quiet beach backed a sand dunes, the food is excellent , the rooms are spacious and luxurious and the staff and owner are very friendly.

Gorgeous accommodation with great breakfast

Lovely hotel to stay at when visiting Addo. Rooms are huge and the bathroom is lovely, especially the outdoor shower. Only downside is there is no door so the light comes in as soon as the sun rises. 10-15 min drive to Addo, not much in the local area. Breakfast was good, buffet selection and eggs cooked to order. Nice pool with towels and sunscreen provided which was a nice touch.

easy to find, was nervous about leaving car but wasnt issue. little confused on arrival how things worked but was fine. little walk to our tent which was well equipped and slept fine. great to see owners who have great passion, not sure if everyone does as its run by 2 rangers who take u on the drives. thought we would get 4 game drives but was only 3 with a short bush walk. food very nice, lunch wasnt my thing but wasnt hungry. not sure what to do between walk and drive, so be prepared. game...

There is no better safari geared up for families in the world. We had the best time ever as did our seven year old daughter, and the staff couldn’t have done any more for us. This place is THE gold standard in luxury safaris and Riverdene ensured it worked for children too without compromising quality for adults too. Everything from the early email exchanges arranging tours of Addo, to the welcome, the tour, the food, the room and the service was absolutely perfect. Having stayed in 100's of hotels in dozens of countries this would definitely be one of the best. The attention to detail and personal experience could not be faulted. Woodbury is a small lodge which made it easy to get to know wveryone. The staff were wonderful; nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had a great experience. The food was fantastic and everything was homemade and delicious. We had an amazing time and can highly recommend it

We stayed in the Kudu Suite at the Waterfront lodge part of Pumba. Room was massive with two bedrooms with stunning views over the water, a lounge area and two bathrooms. Each with its own bath, one being a jacuzzi bath and open glass showers capturing the magnificent views. Even got to shower with the monkeys looking on! We booked this hotel in very short order and were not disappointed. Once inside the gate it is an oasis of greenery and calm. We had an amazing stay at the Shamwari Long Lee Manor. Staff provided excellent service pampering us and taking care of our every needs and I had definitely put on some weight. The meals were wonderful we sure had one of the best lamb racks and braai dinner with our ranger was fantastic. Our ranger Abel was excellent, knowledgeable and a very humble man.
