  • Looking to relax in a stunning oceanside house with close proximity to Halifax NS? The Hideaway is your spot, just 30 minutes from the city and well positioned between Chester and Hubbards Nova Scotia. Relax on the deck and watch the tide come and go as you listen to the brook flowing into the tidal pool, or enjoy a fire oceanside with spectacular sunsets and star gazing.

    The Hideaway is a two bedroom (both King Beds) 3 full bathroom house with air conditioning. There is also a queen bed in the downstairs living room. The house is fully stocked with all necessary items, plus a few extras for your family to enjoy. With so many beautiful beaches in the area, we've ensured you have what you need to maximize your time with chairs, beach towels and an umbrella. If you have a young family, we've got you covered there too, with a Pack 'N Play and high chair attachment for your little one.

    If you're adventurous and want to explore the water we have a canoe, paddles and lifejackets for the family (two adult and two children). The only problem with staying at the Hideaway is you won't want to leave

Beautiful spot that doesn’t disappoint. Very much a hidden gem of a spot with amazing views and sunsets, just as described. So many great places to explore within an 20-1hour drive. Great spot, would highly recommend!

A beautiful and very quiet location, ideally situated between Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove. Perfect for exploring this magnificent region. The place was very clean with all the necessary amenities. Excellent communication with the owners. A perfect holiday.

Perfect location to explore sights east and west of Hubbards. Lots of space, modern style, king beds, upper and lower living areas, huge deck with ocean view. We’ll be back!

This home was perfect for our needs. We were a party of four, three generations from one family. The home is beautiful with plenty of space. The deck overlooking the ocean is spectacular and gave us plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the view. The home is spacious, the two main bedrooms are very comfortable and i have nothing but pure praise for the host and the home.The home is an ideal base to explore Halifax and south shore, close to Chester. I hope to stay again in the near future.Patrick
