"The hotel staff was top notch!!! The location of the hotel was amazing. Walking distance to the Smithsonian and the wharf. Restaurant/Bar staff could use a more sense of urgency. "
Residence Inn by Marriott Washington, DC National Mall
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent staff- super accommodating, professional and friendly. We felt very welcome. We parked outside the city and took the metro in for the weekend - very close to the station so easy to walk a couple of blocks to the hotel. Great breakfast and room was cleaned daily which was unexpected. Laundry was a little pricey and vending machines didn’t work for cards. I purchased laundry soap from their “store” but no fabric softener was available for purchase. The pool was small and the hot tub was kinda gross - we were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub at night but for the size of the hotel, both pool and hot tub were too small. The hot tub was more like warm bath water. Haha :) we didn’t go back after the 1st night.
Would def return - great location, great staff, great breakfast!"
"The property itself is excellent. However, the parking garage is a separate entity from the hotel and offers no discount nor special hotel guest pricing. It was quite expensive, but in-line considering the adjacent areas. Parking is quite a nightmare in the DC area. On a good note, Uber/Lyft are excellent options, readily available, easy pickup/drop locations, and reasonably priced."
