"Great motel with spacious rooms and lovely bath tub. Staff are really helpful and can’t do enough to help. Also the motel offer a free laundry room which is truly helpful. The area itself is great for food , drinks, walk on beach. I can’t recommend this place enough."

"Everything is absolutely amazing I can't express how I feel into words about the whakatane riverside camp grounds would I recommend to family and friends and if people are in need and are looking for some where to stay I would and say go and go back again i had a clean room the staff are real helpful genuine people I see a dog roaming around might be just the dog real placid but pet friendly place as well thank you whakatane riverside camp grounds"
