The perfect location for day trips to the Matanuska Glacier, Chugach State Park & Nature Center, Historic Hatcher Pass State Park, Thunderbird Falls, and Anchorage. A short 5 minute walk to nearby Beach Lake Nordic Ski / hiking trails, and nearby bike path to Anchorage and beyond. House is situated on a dead end street on a quiet, forested lot. A 7 minute drive to shopping and restaurants in Eagle River. Two minutes off of the Glenn Highway, (AK 1) Owners' nearby home shares same looped driveway. Living room, kitchen and bathroom/shower are on the main floor; two bedrooms and walk in closet upstairs. You walk through the bedroom with twin beds to get to the master bedroom. The bathroom is on the main floor. Two adorable friendly dogs belong to the owner. Supermarket near although you do need a car to stay in this place and move around. Greg is a great host available to answer and clarify any question. I just wished there was a second bathroom upstairs. Be prepared to climb some stairs. The kitchen has everything you might need to prepare a meal. The downstairs bathroom has plenty of water and towels. It has a heater downstairs and in the master bedroom with climate control.
