Lovely room, good location, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast a bit limited.
The booking through Expedia was simple, but the hotel received a booking for 2 single rooms, one in the wing name spelling, and neither with breakfast, whereas my receipt stated 2 double rooms, including breakfast, and in the correct names. Luckily the hotel were amiable.

Beautiful old converted building, but corridors and rooms were tatty and showing their age. Only came into contact with front desk staff, but they weren’t very friendly and (possibly the manager) one of the staff completely dismissed my request to fill my water bottle when I was checking out. EV chargers didn’t work. It is in a good location to walk into town and use the many restaurants and bars nearby. Didn’t eat or drink in the hotel as it looked quite soleless. Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again, and wouldn’t recommend it.

"Nice hotel located within the rat run of the towns side streets. Once there, there was private parking at a cost 10e per space (2 motorcycles 5e each). Large room which was clean and tidy, it is a short walk from the town main square (7 minutes). Breakfast was a let down, the cold items were great, ..."

"I don't understand why hotels put people in rooms that are substandard when people book through other platforms. This one is a example, the hotel wasn't busy yet we were placed in a really crummy room (they will say it was fully booked, it wasn't). The bed was absolutely awful, possibly the worst ..."
