My sisters and I had a girls week at this property and there are so many things we loved about it.
The location was fabulous, it is tucked off a small 2 lane road butting right up to the mountain. There is an amazing hiking trail right behind the house, we hiked that everyday, when we got to the top, there was a gazebo with chairs overlooking the area and if we sat long enough (which we did) we could hear the Silverton Train whistle, it was magical. There is also a small outhouse and a little house with chairs in it, quite quaint.
The house had plenty of room for us and we were very comfortable. We loved the decks and the hot tub. Our favorite part is the stream that runs right by the property, it was so fun to sit on the deck and watch the ducks float by. Scott and Katie and their kids live on the property, they were so delightful in helping us in so many ways, setting up a firepit so we could do smores, giving us ideas of where to hike, getting to know their 2 adorable dogs and we loved meeting their kids. Even though they live on the same property, there is complete privacy if you want it. They were great hosts and we would definitely rent from them again.
