Restaurant Staff & Security: The restaurant staff and security team were amazing—attentive, friendly, and professional. They truly stood out and made parts of the stay enjoyable. The Not-So-Good Service Issues The front desk staff were nonchalant, unhelpful, and slow. They also provided incorrect information, which caused unnecessary frustration. The room layout was odd. The front bedroom had two twin beds, which would have made more sense in the back bedroom (which had a king bed). Beds: The beds were hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. There was no actual functional kitchen. The hotel deterred guests from using it and provided no utensils, plates, cups, or basic kitchen supplies—despite the room being advertised as having a kitchen. Bathrooms: Both bathrooms had tubs, but there was no hot water, which made it impossible to take a bath. The food was OK but overly salty. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either. Isolation: The hotel is in an isolated area with no restaurants nearby after 9 PM, leaving guests with limited options. They played loud music 6a-10p The property lacked many basic amenities that most hotels provide as standard. While the restaurant staff and security were exceptional, the overall experience was disappointing. The lack of basic amenities, uncomfortable beds, & poor front desk service made the stay frustrating. If you value convenience, comfort, & reliability this may not be the best choice.

Fantastic , beautiful uber luxurious resort hotel in a private stretch of coast encompassing two other hotels located on the golden sands north of LangCo . We stayed for 6 nights at the end of a tour of Vietnam and it was pretty near perfect . While isolated from the hustle and bustle of central Vietnam for us it was a great place to relax and unwind. Our beach front jacuzzi pool villa was absolutely wonderful with lots of Banyan Tree class and style . We ate at all the restaurants but liked Azura for lunch and Saffron for dinner especially . The spa service was sublime. For Europeans the value given where you are staying is terrific and while very expensive for the region was well under half the price of a top beach resort in Europe this summer . We would love to come back . Two small observations , the service was generally delightful but at times was a little too intrusive and bordered on suffocating . In their effort to please they need to rein it in just a little bit . Also while the beach is pristine at the hotel, walk 300 m and there were a few too many plastic bottles washed up . It is such a special place please keep it immaculate. Thank you Banyan Tree and to Jennie our host for a superb end to our holiday . Good bye and thank you Vietnam !
